Amp'd Hollywood/Motorola E816

The Amp'd Hollywood/Motorola E816 puts the youth-oriented carrier's best face forward.

Excellent reception. Very good battery life. Hhandsome. Cheaper than Verizon.

Crippled Bluetooth. Push-to-talk and much content not available yet.

Motorola E815 (Verizon Wireless) review:

Motorola E815 Verizon has pulled out all the stops with its latest V Cast handset. The handsome, clamshell-style Motorola E815 not only supports Verizon's high-speed EV-DO network but also packs in a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity, a...

The Motorola E815 has a great internal display, a 1.3-megapixel camera, a speakerphone, a TransFlash card slot, Bluetooth, an MP3 player, 3G EV-DO support.

The Motorola E815 suffers from a slippery keypad, touch-and-go EV-DO reception, and no analog roaming. Also, Bluetooth file transfers have been disabled.

Verizon's new V Cast flip phone, the Motorola E815 scores with a sharp 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, plenty of RAM, and an MP3 player.

Motorola E815

With its powerful combination of excellent features and a reasonable price, the Motorola E815 is a real winner. In fact, we liked it so much that we've awarded it our Editors' Choice for a feature phone available on the Verizon network.

Excellent reception. Very good battery life. MP3 player. Great price. Mac support

Can't use cell phone as PC modem. Unusual predictive text system

The most powerful, most flexible Verizon cell phone, with very good reception and a great price.

Motorola E815

If you've had it with tiny cell phones that leave your fingers cramped after dialing a phone number, check out the Motorola E815. In a word: it's big. Don't get us wrong, it's not so big it won't fit comfortably on a belt holster, but it is noticeably...

Motorola E815 Review - Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

The Moto E815 is a standard clamshell phone, no surprises in the design department. Like many Verizon phones, the E815 sports a large external antenna— not a great feeling when in the pocket, but it does nice things for reception, and this Moto has...

Sturdy build, great call quality and RF, EVDO for high speed surfing and VCast content. Nice camera that shoots pleasing still shots, Bluetooth, voice dialing, speaker phone and an expansion slot so you won't have to email yourself photos and videos...

A bit large and heavy by flip phone standards. MP3 player is short on features

A very strong offering at a reasonable price. The E815 has very good build quality, is built like a tank and has every feature you could ask for on a high end phone. It may not be tiny or sexy, but its strong signal and feature set may just win you...

Motorola E815 Review

Americans love clamshells. Nokia and Sony Ericsson have dabbled in folding design, but are far better known for block form factors; often struggling with the trade-off between keeping the size small while fitting a large screen. For the majority of...

High expectations were placed for the E815's predecessor, the Motorola V710. And when it was announced, groans could be heard afar. And as the faithful anxiously awaited the release of the Motorola E815, they were holding their breath once again

Today Verizon Wireless of the USA launched the Motorola E815, the company's first US-market EV-DO 3G handset. We first saw the E815 back in January at the 2005 CES event in Las Vegas, noting its similarities with the current V710 model.

Motorola E815

Motorola E815: Motorola being the second largest mobile manufacturer, is on the carriers support list for long time. Since the introduction of V Cast, Verizon is looking for cell phones which could support its high profile network. E815 by Motorola was...

The over all performance of this dual-band cell phone is good. The call reception and quality is crystal clear with EV-DO connection. However the cell phone lags behind from its rivals at certain features. Most of the customers want a high quality...
