The Milestone 2?s navigational credentials were fast, accurate and Google Maps now includes voice directions

The Milestone 2 is on the heavy side, and its cumbersome build may not be to everyone?s tastes

Motorola DROID 2 review

We review the Motorola DROID 2, Verizon Wireless' sequel to the wildly popular Motorola DROID

Runs Android 2.2 out of the box ; Solid build, slightly refined design ; Fast and responsive

Screen is dwarfed by other Android phones ; Price is prohibitive; DROID X and DROID Incredible might be better $200 phones ; Not enough of an upgrade compared to the DROID

The Motorola DROID 2 is a great smartphone, just like the DROID was. A lot has changed since the original, however, and a new breed of monster Android phones make the DROID 2 less impressive than its predecessor was at launch. Plus, the DROID 2 won't...

Motorola Droid 2 has an enhanced design, but its camera is unimpressive

Ships with latest version of Android, improved design

Motoblur detracts from a few native Android apps, Camera is mediocre

The Droid 2 is a big improvement over its predecessor, but if you take a lot of pictures with your smartphone, you might want to opt for another Droid.

Motorola Droid 2 Global review: Motorola Droid 2 Global

Motorola Droid 2 Global

The Motorola Droid 2 Global offers world-roaming capabilities and has a faster processor than the Droid 2. The Android 2.2 smartphone can also be used as a mobile hot spot.

Battery life could be better.

The Motorola Droid 2 Global is a solid Android smartphone for globe-trotting executives looking for a BlackBerry alternative.

Review: Motorola Droid 2 Smartphone

The Motorola Droid 2 makes some modest improvements in hardware and software to make for a (mostly) winning follow-up to the original.

High call clarity and great reception mean you can actually use it as a phone. Sound output is loud enough to play music for friends. Lightning-fast internet browsing. Slide-out keypad is spacious and easy to use

Would have to start wearing cargo pants to be able to put it in our pockets. Fairly difficult to navigate at first. Picture and video quality are okay, but nothing we’d really want to upload to Facebook

Motorola Droid 2 (Verizon Wireless) review

Editors' note: Portions of this review were taken from our evaluation of the Droid X since both smartphones share a number of features.

The Motorola Droid 2 sports a sleeker look and an improved keyboard. The smartphone also features a faster processor, double the RAM of the original Droid, and ships with Android 2.2.

The Droid 2 doesn't have a front-facing camera and Android 2.2's new camera interface. It lacks HDMI port. Though the keyboard is better, keys are a bit stiff to press.

The Motorola Droid 2 offers a number of improvements that make it a worthy upgrade from the Droid and certainly a top choice for those who want a smartphone with a physical keyboard.
