Motorola Barrage V860 (Verizon Wireless)

The Motorola Barrage offers good call quality for a rugged phone, but it wasn't quite able to stand up to our torture tests.

Good call quality. Long battery life. Waterproof.

Not super rugged. Below average video and camera phone. ; Watch the Motorola Barrage V860!

Camera and Conclusions The 2-megapixel camera lacks a flash, and takes pretty average pictures. Test photos showed decent sharpness in good light, but got grainy in low light. The camcorder can shoot clips at two resolutions, 320-by-240 and 176-by-144,...

Motorola Barrage (Verizon Wireless) review: Motorola Barrage (Verizon Wireless)

Motorola has a long history of creating durable cell phones, but with the occasional exception , they've ended up at Nextel. As we've long encouraged Moto to spread the rugged love, we were glad to see it launch the Motorola Barrage for Verizon...

The Motorola Barrage has a durable design and a functional feature set that includes push-to-talk. Photo and call quality are satisfactory.

The Motorola Barrage's 3G connection is a bit slow, and video and music quality are unimpressive.

The Motorola Barrage offers Verizon Wireless customers a rugged push-to-talk phone with admirable call quality.

Motorola Barrage

There's a specific market for this device - construction workers, those that need push-to-talk capabilities, and those that are hard on their phones. That being said, the device still offers features that could make it attractive to people not in that...

"Awesome basic, rugged phone for talk and txt"

This phone rocks if you talk and txt. Don't have the web so I can't comment. The battery life is great, again I suppose it depends on usage, I had this phone on now for 4 days straight and still at full charge. Again if you're one those who r...

Solid feel, goo alert volume, clear screen

"The Barrage is an excellent, rugged phone."

My son has one and he liked it so well I had to buy one. He accidently dropped his in 5 feet of water and had to dive for it. Took him over 30 minutes to find it. Still works great. I have only had mine for about 2 weeks. It has impoved my reception,...

Good design and clear display. Camera is easy to use. Has good battery life.

None i can think of. I basically onlyuse a phone for making and receiving phone calls.

"Reliable telephone service...always!"

I use a telephone as a telephone. It sends and receives phone calls. It sends and receives text messages. It does this better than any previous phone used (and better than my colleagues iPhones). I own a camera to take pictures. I own a television and...

Well made. Great reception. Can be laundered while turned on, taken out of the wash and still used (that was a year ago).

People mock my phone, but that is a larger narcissistic and nihilistic sociological problem of America...not a problem with the phone itself.

"Excellent Rugged Phone"

As a carpenter, I chose this phone because it is rugged and made by motorola whose engineering i prefer. I have dropped this phone dozens of times without issue. I once lost my phone outside while doing fall yardwork. It was outside (on vibrate) for 6...

Water, Dust, and Shock Resistant

Poor battery that doesn't fully charge all the time.

Motorola Barrage V860

I'm always fishing, and it rains a lot. I don't have to worry about getting this phone wet. This phone does everything the way it should. Excellent phone.
