LG VX8600

Verizon's best-looking flip phone tastes like Chocolate.

Terrific looks. Big, bright screen. Good voice quality.

Data service bug. So-so camera. Quiet speakerphone.

LG Chocolate VX8600 Review

The VX8600 is a combination of all the good the Chocolate had to bring, yet is in a slim flip phone that is the size of the RAZR. The body construction and looks of the phone are very stylish, the music player works well, camera is adequate, and call...

Slim design that is the same size as the RAZR ; Good Voice and Call Quality ; Internal Antenna ; Large External Display ; MP3/WMA Music Player ; MicroSD ; Bluetooth Stereo A2DP support

Internal Display is not QVGA like on the Chocolate ; Speaker on flip is low quality, causes distortion in Speakerphone and “thin” music playback ; Camera quality is not as good as other phones ; Keypad is flat and smooth with no tactile feel

The VX8600 is a combination of all the good the Chocolate had to bring, yet is in a slim flip phone that is the size of the RAZR. The body construction and looks of the phone are very stylish, the music player works well, camera is adequate, and call...

LG VX8600 Cell Phone

The LG VX8600 is a beautifully designed and fully capable flip phone that doubles as a pocket multimedia player.

Slick design; great features; good camera; great video, audio playback

Flat keypad requires getting used to; buttons are small

Double your display real estate by adding a second monitor. It's a snap: Here's how

Review: LG VX8600

The LG VX8600 for Verizon Wireless has a decided taste of "Chocolate" to it, but still manages to stand out based on its own merits. Its a solid all-around performer that should make LG and Verizon both quite proud.

Good looking, improved user interface, Bluetooth stereo

Impossible to keep clean, keypad and softkeys difficult to use

While the LG VX8600 for Verizon is not an all-around stunner, it is, with some minor exceptions, a very solid all-around performer.

LG VX8600 Review

The slim and stylish LG VX8600 music phone from Verizon Wireless is the perfect answer for those pining for the multimedia features of the LG VX8500 Chocolate, but in a an ultra-thin and more conventional clamshell design

Style-wise, the VX8600's inspiring and elegant design will be the right match for those who really understand cell phone chic

LG VX8600 - Phone Reviews by Mobile Tech Review

When the LG Chocolate (VX8500) came out on Verizon, folks who like slider phones got to enjoy a music-centric device that had a silky-smooth surface and innovative touch-screen music and phone controls. Several flavors of Chocolate later, Verizon is...

Very stylish looking in shiny black with silver accents. Strong reception and very good EV-DO speed make the LG a good for V Cast fans. The touch sensitive music controls are easier to use than those found on the Chocolate. The camera is quite good...

It’s never a good idea to offer a music phone without giving the user a stereo headset. The screen resolution could be higher. Not a lot of internal memory to store multimedia files but you do have the expansion slot

LG VX-8600

LG's VX-8600 is the clamshell successor to their very popular "Chocolate" candy bar phone.  This dual-band CDMA cell phone for Verizon Wireless actually packs all of Chocolate's functionality into a sleek flip phone that I found easier to use and more...

LG VX8600

The LG VX8600 is a piece of garbage. It might look cool but, believe me it sucks. The keypad blows unless you have baby hands. Speakerphone is the worst, you can't hear anything. The best part is that you won't be able to make a call because it drops...

LG VX8600

I've become very disappointed with the LG VX8600. Three members of our family have it. It drops my calls all of the time. One son had to get a new phone because it would not allow a charge. Another one has multiple problems. I'm off to Verizon ASAP to...

LG VX8600

My lg VX8600 is pretty good. I got the phone about 8 months ago, and I've liked it so far. My only problem with this phone is the reception. Unfortunately, my phone does not get good service in my house. I frequently have calls dropped, and sometimes...
