LG Optimus F6 offers 4G LTE on a budget

Looking for a smartphone deal? The Optimus F6 is a great midtier phone that sports a 5-megapixel camera and a dual-core processor.

The ; has clear call quality, a decent 5-megapixel shooter, and a bright, responsive screen.

4G LTE data speeds were erratic at times on T-Mobile, and because the handset's equipped with Android 4.1.2, it runs a slightly dated OS.

Competitively priced and stocked with respectable hardware specs, the LG Optimus F6 is a worthy buy for prepaid customers who are big on value.

LG Optimus F6 (MetroPCS)

The LG Optimus F6 is a well-connected Android smartphone with LTE, NFC, and a decent display. But its limited internal storage, older OS, and poor camera make it less appealing than it looks.

The LG Optimus F6 is a decent phone if you don’t care about using a lot of apps and are looking for a modestly priced handset. But at $199 you’re paying more money than it’s worth. With low internal storage, unimpressive video recording, and poor call...

LG Optimus F6 (T-Mobile)

The LG Optimus F6 is a value-priced Android smartphone that cuts corners on storage and camera capabilities to hit its price mark. Better T-Mobile values can be found.

An unsubsidized price of less than $300 is hard to ignore, but T-Mobile has better cheap choices. For instance, if you can do without a front camera, LG’s own Optimus F3 is $50 cheaper and a good deal more compact, while the $120 Nokia Lumia 521 offers...

The LG Optimus F6 is a well-connected Android smartphone with LTE, NFC, and a decent display. But its limited internal storage, older OS, and poor camera make it less appealing than it looks.

4G LTE support. Dual-band Wi-Fi and NFC. Excellent battery life.

Pricey compared with the competition. Poor camera. Below-average call quality. Not enough storage for large apps. Excessive bloatware.

Conclusion The LG Optimus F6 is a decent phone if you don't care about using a lot of apps and are looking for a modestly priced handset. But at $199 you're paying more money than it's worth. With low internal storage, unimpressive video recording, and...

The LG Optimus F6 is a value-priced Android smartphone that cuts corners on storage and camera capabilities to hit its price mark. Better T-Mobile values can be found.

Inexpensive given its feature set. Excellent battery life.

Poor camera. Extremely limited internal storage. Cluttered interface.

LG Optimus F6 Review

The Optimus F6 falls squarely in the middle of the high end G2 and entry level Optimus F3. Features include a 4.5” IPS display, LTE support and a dual-core Snapdragon processor, but can they outweigh the compromises made to keep the device affordable?...

Exceptional call quality ; Good fit and finish

Camera performance is underwhelming ; Software can be cluttered at times, and eats much of the phone’s small internal memory

As you would expect LG has made some compromises to keep the Optimus F6 affordable, but for a mid-range device they have put together an overall nice package. The device is well-built, has a good display for its class and incorporates many of the...

Review: LG Optimus F6 for T-Mobile

LG spits out an entry-level Android smartphone for T-Mobile. The budget-friendly Optimus F6 has a lot going for it, and a few things going against it, too.
