LG Lucid 2 (Verizon Wireless) review review:

Despite its rather dull design, the LG Lucid 2 from Verizon is a reliable 4G LTE device that performs consistently well and is available for free with a contract. Aimed at first-time smartphone users, this handset includes a number of features that may...

The LG Lucid 2 comes free with a two-year contract, has wireless charging capabilities, and has an optional user interface for Android beginners.

The Lucid 2's audio speaker has poor audio quality, its video camera picks up a low buzzing sound when recording, and you'll need to buy extra accessories to enable wireless charging.

Though it has a few minor flaws, the reliable performance and rock-bottom price of Verizon's Lucid 2 will satisfy first-time smartphone users on a budget.

LG Lucid 2 (Verizon Wireless)

The LG Lucid 2 is a solid option for Verizon buyers on a budget, but it isn't quite as sweet a deal as the first time around.

Low price. Solid performance. Long battery life.

Lackluster display. Finicky Bluetooth voice dialing. Mixed call quality.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The Lucid 2 comes with 3.74GB of free internal storage, so you'll probably want to pop a microSD card into the slot underneath the battery cover to expand your storage options. My 32 and 64GB SanDisk cards worked...

LG Lucid 2 (Verizon Wireless)

Getting a smartphone with fast 4G LTE speeds doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. Case in point: LG's Lucid 2. This handset for Verizon Wireless --which is free with two-year contract -- offers users all-day battery life and a Starter mode that...

LG Lucid 2 Review

Around this time last year, we reviewed at the original LG Lucid, which was designed to be an inexpensive basic smartphone. Now with the introduction of the new Lucid 2, we're seeing a bump in specs, such as a larger qHD display, more advanced...

Free with contract ; Pleasing size ; Good specs and plenty fast

Camera & video capture quality is a bit lacking ; Music app doesn’t offer many settings

Since the LG Lucid 2 is currently available for free with a 2-year Verizon contract, there is a lot to like about the device. It is small and lightweight, making it easy to carry around, the 4.3” qHD display is a nice size with clear text and images,...

LG Lucid 2 review

Don't just pass this one by - Verizon's potentially got a sleeper hit on its hands with the LG Lucid 2With a fanfare-free launch, a budget-friendly price tag, and modest specs, you woul...

The Lucid 2 is exciting in many ways-- not only is it free on contract, but it's a great device that's free on contract. It's lacking some of the bells and whistles that other phones justify their $200 and $300 price tags with, but for the average...

"So far so good, but I've only used it for 2 weeks."

I like it. I am very happy with the battery life of this phone, which is always an issue with smartphones. Other than the video noise, I can't find any other obvious errors. This is my second smart phone, my first was an HTC Incredible...which I...

Smaller smartphone with the features I need & use.

I am a "geezer" (over 65) who needs a smallish smartphone that does phoning & texting well and has other capabilities that I can use on demand. I don't need the ability to download games or stream videos. The Lucid LG 2 fits well into my pants...
