LG KF900 Prada II - Pocket-lint

Design, keyboard, touchscreen, ease of use

Price (SIM-free), no GPS, leather case, proprietary connector, bulk

The LG KF900 Prada II looks pricey SIM-free, but its specification and nice interface and the excellent keyboard are all worthy of note if you can find the Prada II on a contract that suits you.

LG KF900 Prada review

Has LG's latest Prada designer touchscreen phone sacrificed design for more features?

5-megapixel camera ; Touchscreen ; control with multi-touch ; Qwerty keyboard text input option ; 3G HSDPA connectivity ; Wi-Fi connectivity ; Good quality music player ; 1GB MicroSD memory card supplied ; Good quality video recording ; Minimalist...

No smartphone capability ; No GPS ; Motion-controlled games limited ; Widgets are limited ; Low-light shooting isn't great ; Some potentially battery-sapping features ; Monochrome themes are limited ; Touchscreen text input is poor

Much improved spec-wise, but the added bulk of this phone may but some of the more style-conscious off

LG KF900 Prada II review

The LG Prada fashion phone returns boasting multi touch moves and a full QWERTY. Will it be a catwalk darling?

Less slinky than the original but the improved feature set and screen make it a solid, if unspectacular, touch phone

LG KF900 Prada review -

Excellent entertainment features in camera, video and editing suites; superb touch-screen; smooth user interface

Patchy internet and email experience; lags in menu loading as memory is used up; lack of GPS prevents it from being a real ?high-end? device

LG KF900 Prada II review

We review the LG KF900 Prada II, the Qwerty-keyboard packing touchscreen mobile that combines style and function

5-megapixel camera ; Slide-out Qwerty keyboard ; Touchscreen control ; Pinch-zooming ; Wi-Fi and HSDPA data connectivity ; Stylish design ; Decent sounding music player ; High quality build ; Onscreen widgets and other shortcuts

Chunky body ; Proprietary headphone socket ; Texting isn't great using virtual numberpad ; Limited monochrome themes

LG's second collaboration with fashion house Prada delivers seriously upgraded features, and combines a fine Qwerty keyboard with useful touchscreen control

LG Prada (KF900) mobile phone

It has a stylish design and the Prada name, but the slide-out QWERTY keyboard and superb touch-screen interface are the real winners

Design, aesthetics, QWERTY keyboard, simple yet effective interface, speed, HSDPA-capable, Wi-Fi

Proprietary headphone/charging jack, no GPS, poor browser, expensive

LG's Prada KF900 is proof that fashion phones don’t always have to be all style and no substance. The lack of GPS and a standard headphone jack are downsides, but the QWERTY keyboard is excellent and the interface is a winner.

LG KF900 Prada review: Messenger wears Prada

For the original LG Prada the best way to travel in style was to travel light. But this time around it's carrying a full QWERTY suitcase packed with goodies. Top of the line functionality and an updated interface...

3-inch 262K-color capacitive touchscreen display of WQVGA resolution ; Comfortable QWERTY keyboard ; 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash ; D1 (720x480) resolution video recording at 30fps ; Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support ; Dual band 3G with...

Two-year-old design ; The large waistline doesn't match the fashionable image (but is OK for a QWERTY messenger) ; Plastic build ; No GPS (LG Renoir has it) ; No XviD video support (LG Renoir has it) ; Multi-touch has rather limited use ; No Flash...

And we've got loads to cover. Are the changed form factor and the QWERTY keyboard likely to backfire, and will performance ever be make or break for the fashion savvy? Rarely has a designer package promised so much action, so let's roll

LG KF900 Prada 2 Review

While most of the handset manufacturers are focusing their efforts on the performance and high-end features of their products, LG has decided to revitalize its older Prada fashionistas mobile phone. Unfortunately, the second Prada in the line has kept...

The most impressive feature of the phone is the improved Flash UI, which has received a wide range of settings and tweaks. LG concentrates on user-friendliness like never before and, what's more important, the results are positive. Including some...

I have always thought that LG phones are slow, compared with all other brand handsets. Prada 2 is no exception to this fact and this can be annoying for businessmen, who are looking for fast-reacting devices. While the problem is major, I think that...
