LG Neon II (AT&T)

The LG Neon II offers plenty of multimedia power for a regular cell phone, and it's free with a two-year contract, but beware the hefty monthly fees.

Solid build quality. Usable keyboard. Clear voice calls. Great music player. Free with a two-year contract.

Stubborn touch screen only works when dialing numbers. Mandatory unlimited messaging plans. Poor speakerphone.

Camera and Conclusions The 2-megapixel camera has no flash or auto-focus capability. Test photos were OK overall, with good sharpness and slightly muted color indoors, though darker shadowy areas tended to disappear into blackness. Outdoor shots looked...

LG Neon II review

With the exception of the LG Vu Plus , LG hasn't released a new messaging phone for AT&T in almost a year. Enter the LG Neon II, which debuted around the start of CTIA Fall 2010 . A sequel to the LG Neon of last year, the Neon II has a slightly...

The LG Neon II has a simple and compact slider form factor, with a full four-row QWERTY keyboard, a music player, GPS, quad-band GSM, and 3G support. It's affordable as well.

The LG Neon II's touch-screen ability is unique only to the phone dialer application. The 2-megapixel camera isn't much better than its predecessor's, and we dislike the touch-sensitive soft keys.

We applaud some of the feature updates of the LG Neon II, but its various quirks prevent us from recommending it as there are better quick messaging devices in AT&T's lineup.

LG Neon II Review

With messaging phones consistently being such a huge draw for consumers, there is no reason why we continue to see a fair share amount of quick messaging devices making it to market sporting some cheap prices. And that's assumed to be the reason why we...

LG Neon II Review

The LG Neon II is a prepaid cell phone filled with multimedia features. The touchscreen display will make you feel like you are using an advanced smartphone, and the QWERTY keypad is a benefit for those who dislike typing on virtual keyboards. The 2MP...

The LG Neon II features a touchscreen and a QWERTY keypad.

This cell phone only has 240 minutes of talk time available on a single battery charge.

The LG Neon II is filled with multimedia features to satisfy your entertainment needs.

Takes Getting Used To

All in all if you're looking for a middling phone at a middling price and don't mind using an adapter for headphones grab this one

ok so this phone is a good mid-range phone, good screen res for the size and price, ok musc player (though it locks up if you have too many playlists), camera res is decent, easily takes ringtones via mms or the micro sd slot (though they have to be...

If you slide the device closed to hard and too often you will experience problems with the device turning off, and in some extreme cases can cause the screen to not display. The latter was an easy fix. No 3.5mm headphone jack. No flash on camera...
