A lofty price tag means the LG G Flex is out of many people's affordability and while the "flexible" feature is interesting, in it's current form it's little more than a gimmick. The G Flex is too ahead of the curve.

There’s no doubt that the LG G Flex is an impressive phone. Its problem is it has a seriously capable smaller brother in the G2 at nearly half the price, and a number of big-screen competitors snapping at its heels with full HD screens.

The LG G Flex has some decent hardware including a great camera and more storage than usual. Excellent software is also a lure but its main feature, the curved screen, is too big, only 720p and offers no real benefits. This phablet is too gimmicky so...

While the curved frame takes centre stage, there is a lot more to the LG G Flex. Ultimately, though, a less than cutting edge screen, old Android, the fact that the curve doesn’t really add anything, and the high price do not go in its favour.
