LG Enlighten (Verizon Wireless)

The LG Enlighten is a decent budget Android device, especially if you want a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, but it really needs a better camera.

Clear voice quality. Excellent battery life. Roomy QWERTY keyboard.

Poor camera. Low screen resolution.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions A standard-sized 3.5mm headphone jack sits on top of the phone, and there's a MicroSD memory card slot beneath the back cover. My 32GB SanDisk card worked fine, and Verizon tosses in a 2GB card to get you started....

LG Enlighten (Verizon Wireless) review: LG Enlighten (Verizon Wireless)

We can hardly believe that almost a year has passed since the first U.S. LG Android phone, the LG Ally , hit our shores. LG has advanced considerably in the U.S. market since then, with the release of several great Android phones like the high-end...

The LG Enlighten has a great keyboard, ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and has plenty of features like a 3.2-megapixel camera, 3G with EV-DO Rev. A, Wi-Fi, 3G Mobile Hotspot capabilities, and more. It's also very affordable.

The LG Enlighten is bulky and can be a bit sluggish.

The LG Enlighten is a great beginner smartphone for Verizon Wireless customers who want a physical keyboard.

LG Enlighten Review

Over the past few months, Verizon has been pushing out a number of smartphones that operate on their 4G LTE network, but there remains large areas of the population that are still only covered by 3G EVDO. For them, their smartphone choices have started...

LG Enlighten Review

The LG Enlighten is Verizon's newest entry-level smartphone, offering a slide-out keyboard and Android for a wallet-friendly $80 with new contract

Inexpensive ; Good battery life

Data plan makes a "low end" smartphone still expensive

A nice, cheap Android phone that provides basic needs at an equally basic price

LG Enlighten Written Review by Sydney

As a budget-friendly smartphone, the Enlighten doesn't promise to blow you away with its performance, but that doesn't mean you're willing to accept sub-par performance.

Decent processor performance; good 3G speeds; latest version of Android

Bad keyboard design; terrible camera performance; I'm personally not a fan of LG's custom UI

If something about the Enlighten strikes your fancy, then you should be sufficiently satisfied with it. Still there are better options for the price and in this category.

LG Enlighten Video Review Part 2 | PhoneDog

The LG Enlighten is a budget-friendly Android smartphone from Verizon , but it has a few things that other budget-friendly devices don't have - the latest version of Android, 2.3 Gingerbread, a physical keyboard, and Mobile Hotspot...

"Very poor quality smart phone"

DON'T BUY IT UNLESS YOU RARELY USE A CELL PHONE.

"OK" phone in the beginning when FIRST getting used to a smartphone.

horrible battery life and is not durable. It overheats with car charging. I've gone through 3 of these phones in 2 years. It freezes up, BAD camera and awful background noise. NOW it's only letting me charge in the car.

Great Phone!!! Good for a first time smartphone user.

I got this phone on eBay, brand new for $35 with free shipping on 5/17/13. I wasn't expecting much considering it was a two year old phone and it came from eBay itself. This phone has exceeded my expectations. The phone came brand-new and without a...

Physical Keyboard Camera 3G/WiFi Large Touchscreen Battery Life

The internal memory is horrible. The physical keyboard could be a little more roomy. I have big thumbs, so I'm always pressing the wrong buttons. I hate that the voice dialer button is on the keyboard itself. I'm always accidentally turning it on.

"Would NOT recommend this smart phone"

Although it does text, web, and social media - it is very lackluster compared to other phones. I switched from a Blackberry Torch and am very discouraged. This phone is slower, graphics are worse, and it iasn't near as easy to navigate. The battery...

Not really a lot. Very low end version of a smart phone. Does do everything you need to it do however.

Low batter life, zero frills, poor quality
