LG Cosmos VN250 (Verizon Wireless)

The LG Cosmos offers budget-minded buyers a solid texting phone which even works as a good GPS navigator.

Solid construction. Loud speakerphone. Good battery life.

Below-average reception. No 3G, music player, or video recorder. Very little internal memory.

Multimedia and Conclusions The Cosmos is purely a voice and messaging phone. There's a 2.5mm headphone jack for hands-free earbuds, no stereo Bluetooth, and no music or video player. The 1.3-megapixel camera is pretty basic and doesn't record video....

LG Cosmos - black (Verizon Wireless) review

LG's messaging phone offerings for Verizon Wireless continues to grow. There was the LG enV and the LG Voyager series of handsets, and at CTIA 2010, Verizon welcomed the newcomer LG Cosmos to the family. It is essentially a rejiggering of the LG Rumor...

The LG Cosmos has a solid and simple slider design with a tactile number keypad and a roomy QWERTY keyboard. You also get a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and GPS. Call quality is great as well.

The LG Cosmos lacks corporate e-mail support, and don't expect a music player or EV-DO on here.

The LG Cosmos makes a great choice for an affordable entry-level messaging phone for Verizon customers.

LG Cosmos

The LG Cosmos isn't the most feature-rich messaging phone we've encountered, but it has enough messaging features including mobile e-mail (sorry, no corporate e-mail support) and mobile instant messaging (IM) to keep people busy. On board, the LG...

LG Cosmos VN250 Review

Just like the LG enV series has been quite popular with Verizon over the past few years, the LG Rumor series has been equally popular with Sprint. Now comes the LG Cosmos VN250 for Verizon Wireless, but it is basically a rebranded Rumor 2 with some...

LG Cosmos 2 – A Compact Messaging Phone

LG might have expanded their presence in the Smartphone market in US, with their models like T-Mobile's G2X and LG Revolution, but the company still takes care of the customers looking for simple messaging handsets. The all new LG Cosmos 2 from LG is...

LG Cosmos Reviewed

The LG Cosmos is a great entry level voice and messaging device that offers a decent camera, Bluetooth, GPS and great call quality. If you want to know more about this decent device then read on!

The phone’s 1.3 megapixel camera is very basic and doesn't support video recording. Well lit indoor and outdoor shots are sharp and colorful. The phone has a weak sensor so the images taken in badly lit rooms turn out to be spotty and blurred. You can...

LG Cosmos Cell Phone Review–Simple And Basic

Today we're settling in for a good look for one of Verizon‘s newer cell phones, the LG Cosmos. And though it does look a little familiar, it will bring a good solid cell phone performance along with it.

Decent features ; Simple to use

Low end camera ; Merely average battery ; Slippery keys

The LG Cosmos is a candy bar style phone that offers a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, making it great for messaging. You’ll also get a phone book with space for a thousand entries, a calculator, a speakerphone, alarm clock, notepad, calendar, world...

Good entry-level messaging phone for Verizon

The LG Cosmos may not be anything new in terms of design, but reviewers say this dual-keypad slider phone provides Verizon customers with good entry-level messaging option. Reviewers say the Cosmos is basically a clone of Sprint's LG Rumor2....

Good QWERTY keyboard, decent build quality, great call quality

Small 2-inch screen, no music player, no flash on camera, short battery life

Ages gracefully

I have had this phone for over 2 years now, which speaks to how sturdy this bad boy is. I only use my phone for calls and texts (no data plan), so I can't speak to any of that. However, this phone has been faithful to me through the years for my basic...

Indestructible - I've dropped this phone several times and it hasn't changed the quality of calls that I've noticed Slide out QWERTY keyboard - personal preference; I prefer the physical keyboard over virtual Battery life - Lasts for DAYS

Text message layout - difficult to navigate between conversations and texts within a conversation Camera has no flash (and therefore, no "flashlight") Buttons are small Call quality isn't great - seem to hear lots of background noise
