Kyocera DuraXT (Sprint)

The Kyocera DuraXT is Sprint's best push-to-talk cell phone, but otherwise, it's just average.

Rugged. Good call quality. Loud speaker. Great battery life.

Dated UI. Few features.

Apps, Multimedia, and Conclusions Like the rest of Sprint's push-to-talk lineup, the DuraXT is an otherwise bare bones feature phone. The main menu features the same grid with 12 icons that Sprint has used on many flip phones in the past. It's dated,...

Kyocera DuraXT (Sprint) review

Kyocera rugged devices are nothing to mess with. As I've learned from the Kyocera DuraPlus , its handsets can handle just about whatever you throw at them. Better yet, perhaps it'd be best if you hurled them at something since these things are built so...

The Kyocera DuraXT has an indestructible design, a decent camera, push-to-talk direct connect, and solid call quality.

The DuraXT isn't easy on the eyes, it has a nonstandard 2.5mm headset jack, and it can accumulate moisture underneath its screens.

Though its clamshell design isn't pretty, the Kyocera DuraXT is tough as nails, with great call quality, and a respectable camera to boot.

Review: Kyocera DuraXT for Sprint

Kyocera kicked out another rugged flip phone for Sprint and called it the DuraXT. This DirectConnect-capable walkie-talkie device takes a beating and keeps competing. Find out what we liked and what we didn't in Phone Scoop's full report.

Not what is shown.

I only hope that I can get my shipping back because it is not what they claim.

It would be nice if it worked as shown in pictures, but it is only made to have the phone face inward

It does not work as pictured. You cannot use it faced outward
