i-mate - Ultimate 6150

There aren't too many Windows Mobile devices that can be connected to an external monitor, but the Ultimate 6150 from i-mate is one of them, as is its slightly differently designed sibling, the Ultimate 8150. The ...

The Ultimate 6150 lives up to its namesake when it comes to power and efficiency. However, some questionable design choices have dragged down the overall quality of the product. Nonetheless, it remains an able performer.

HSDPA-capable, beefy processor and GPU, VGA screen, Wi-Fi, XGA direct out connection

Needlessly chunky, touch screen could be bigger, lacklustre design

i-mate Ultimate 6150

i-mate's Ultimate 6150 packs tremendous power onto a way-too-small screen.

Extremely fast and powerful.

Small screen given the device's size. Battery bug has delayed release.

i-mate Ultimate 6150

The Ultimate 6150 goes like grease lightning but be warned: you'll need deep pockets to own one, and not just to pay the price tag.

Excellent VGA display. Fast 520MHz processor. XGA TV-Out. Excellent connectivty options.

Dismal battery life. Large, heavy handset.

If we didn't regard battery life so highly the 6150 would have earned itself an editor's choice award. As it stands, the Ultimate 6150 stands apart as one of the fastest Windows Mobile devices currently available.

i-mate Ultimate 6150 Review
