PC Plus review: i-Mate K-Jam

In K-Jam, i-Mate has managed to produce a PDA small and ergonomic enough to be truly portable yet functional.

The i-mate K-Jam may not be 3G but it comes with a QWERTY keyboard, full internet browsing and Skype VoIP

A genuine gadgety alternative to a standard mobile that rewards patient Windows users

i-mate - K-JAM

There are two crucially important points to consider when choosing a connected (SIM-carrying) PDA. Are you prepared to use it all the time (i.e. is it small enough or effective enough to carry around on the ...

The K-JAM is both feature-packed and ergonomic. It's a good size for carrying around on the off-chance that you might need it, and the keyboard should make SMS and e-mail easier and faster than on a normal mobile phone. The only problem is that low...

I-mate K-Jam

A slide-out keyboard, 2.8" QVGA screen, dual band Wi-fi and Bluetooth 2.0 support are just some of the many features you will find on the quadband I-m...

Slideout keyboard, good sound quality, 2.8" screen, b/g wireless support

Mini-SD support only, processor can be laggy, poor stylus implementation, poor camera

The closest thing to perfect we have seen, the I-mate K-JAM is packed full of features with a reasonable size and keyboard.

i-mate K-JAM

The i-mate K-JAM offers a good package of business features at an acceptable price, although if you want top-notch performance, look elsewhere.

Rotation is twitchy ; Processor performance only average ; Screen could be easily damaged ; Very ordinary camera ; No 3G

The K-JAM is currently available at a lower asking price than the JASJAR -- that's hardly surprising, given the somewhat lower specification screen, lack of 3G support and much less grunty processor, and for what it offers is good value in a very...

i-mate K-JAM

Those who fell in love with i-mate Jam will definitely fall in love all over again with the new and improved i-mate K-JAM - rumored as the JAM's successor. It still provides you with mobile phone handset basics together with all pocket PC functions....

100% compatibility with windows software ; Vivid screen regardless of its sheer size ; All these useful functions packed in a single mobile phone handset ; Easy and user-friendly menu functions ; Soft keys for particular mobile phone functions ;...

Not good for music enthusiast as this is not the phone's main feature ; Battery life is short considering phone's packed feature ; Curved back: one can't place the phone flat on the table and type ; Bulky

The i-mate K-JAM is actually the new and improved version release of its predecessor, the i-mate JAM. The i-mate K-JAM is packed with enhanced software applications which meet your busy lifestyle. This phone has surely made everything simple.
