HTC One Mini review

A little slice of the world's best mobile phone.

Great design ; High-res screen ; Doesn't need more CPU power

Poorer battery ; Misses image stabilisation ; Storage too low

So much of the power from the HTC One in a shrunken design - a brilliant phone that gets a lot right.

HTC One Mini

The HTC One Mini is here, promising cutting edge Android in a beautiful chassis that's not so large you need two hands and a stylus to operate - a rarity these days. Like its bigger brother the HTC One, it boasts HTC's own take on Android, Sense, plus...

The HTC One Mini is a beautifully constructed handset, and a stark reminder that not every smartphone in 2013 needs to pack a giant screen to stand out. Apple’s doing just fine, thank you, and we’re glad to see another company offering a more...

HTC One Mini pictures and hands-on - premium design on mid-range phone

The HTC One now has a younger brother: the One Mini.

HTC One Mini review

The HTC One Mini has everything it should to bear the chic HTC One name: a gorgeously crafted hardware and software design, with solid performance chops to match.

HTC's One Mini has a striking design, Android 4.2.2, terrific external speakers, and a strong midtier feature set.

The diet version of the One has 16GB of internal storage with no option to expand, and lacks NFC.

Even with its scaled-down specs, the HTC One Mini is a go-to performer with style to match.

HTC One Mini Review

Like babies and toy dogs, some things just look better when they are smaller. The One Mini has most of the great features from the One, including its awesome camera, but in a cuter, pint-sized package.

Just be sure that you are comfortable with the screen size before you buy the One Mini. We remember just a few years ago when 4.3-inch screens were the biggest in the market, but times changes, as do our preferences, and now they seem a little on the...

HTC One Mini

Great battery life, nice screen, not too big for a normal pocket. Very good ergonomics.

Seems never to notify me of new e-mails unless I log in and refresh, despite setting it to check every 10 minutes and notify me. Car mode doesn't seem to automatically engage very well, though I have only tried it about 10 times.
