T-Mobile MyTouch 4G review

The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G is the latest addition to the carrier's MyTouch series of Android phones, and it brings a slew of design and feature enhancements. With a more solid build, the Android 2.2 smartphone feels like a premium device and has the goods...

The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G features a thin and sturdy design. The Android 2.2 device supports the carrier's HSPA+ network and offers Wi-Fi calling and mobile hot spot capabilities. The MyTouch 4G also has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and a 5-megapixel camera.

Speakerphone volume is too low. We had numerous issues with video calls. The smartphone is a little on the heavy side.

Though video chat isn't ready for prime time, there's plenty to love about the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G, including its speed, sleek and sturdy design, and great call quality.

Review: HTC T-Mobile myTouch 3G

The myTouch proves that when paired with decent hardware, Android might have a chance to take down the iPhone.

Top-to-bottom hardware redesign is a big win, with thoughtful new features. Generally crystalline call quality. Solid selection of downloadable applications. More pocket-friendly than an iPhone. Responsive touchscreen. HTC-built hardware is as polished...

Screen gets smudged easily and is harder to wipe clean than competitors. Only 4 GB of memory = less tuneage than most smartphones. No standard headphone jack (mini-USB adapter required). Proprietary jack pipes your soundtrack through HTC’s substandard...

T-Mobile MyTouch 3G review: T-Mobile MyTouch 3G

The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G has a sleek, attractive design with a gorgeous display, tactile controls, and an easy-to-use, customizable interface. Stereo Bluetooth and Outlook e-mail syncing are standard features, and call and data performance are excellent.

The T-Mobile MyTouch 3G lacks important features like a standard 3.5-millimeter headset jack, a file manager, and camera-editing options. Video quality is uneven, and the HTML browser interface and virtual keyboard have their flaws. Also, it doesn't...

With the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G, the Google Android OS gets a much-needed boost. A few complaints remain, and some users may bemoan the lack of a physical keyboard, but we approve of its eye-catching design and interface, improved features, and satisfying...

HTC myTouch 4G (T-Mobile) review by Taylor | PhoneDog

The T-Mobile myTouch 4G is the big brother in the myTouch series. It's larger, packs much better specs, and looks great while doing so. HTC stuck to their myTouch roots with the design and kept it looking like...

The T-Mobile myTouch 4G has a very friendly form factor and size; great battery life in comparison to other Android devices; very loud speaker; no lag; unobtrusive custom user interface that comes with a few different theme choices out-of-box; bright,...

The camera auto-focus has issues; hard to tell whether you're running on HSDPA or HSPA+; altered Sense UI may not appeal to all; trackpad is insensitive

HTC myTouch 3G White

The Sapphire has finally made it's way to the States. Is it worth the wait? What's good: *extremely* customizable - both inside and out, sleek design, excellent touch screen, the "with Google" brand means that it's open and ready for modification....

extremely* customizable - both inside and out, sleek design, excellent touch screen, the "with Google" brand means that it's open and ready for modification

no multi-touch, stock Google keyboard not as good as third-party replacements, no camera flash, a little more power would be nice, major software problem out of the gate, the "with Google" brand means this phone will never see HTC's Sense UI

"Worst phone I've ever had"

I had a G2 that i loved and the screen went out so i had to get it replaced. It was covered under warranty so that was good. only 20 dollar warranty fee. The T-mobile agent i talked to offered me the mytouch 4g as a substitue and i thought to myself...

decent battery

uninstallable pre-installed apps, slow "4g", unresponsive touch screen, unresponsive buttons, dragon dictation is bad, slow start up, poor speaker quality, etc.

Nice phone, Good feel

Overall this is a nice phone, the only drawback is the battery life.

Decent Camera, good feel, user friendy OS, tons of FREE apps unlike the iphone where you have to pay for the apps, gps and wifi are very good features. Hands free device and 8 GB SD memory card included.

Poor Battery, you would think with today's technology they would have designed a longer lasting battery. Bad static when using hands free device.

"Absolutely top-notch Android phone"

The fun part! I bought this phone to be connected while I prepared for deployment. There was a ruggedized MyTouch that I considered getting, but it did not have a forward facing camera for video chat while I was still stateside. I really struggled with...

SURPRISINGLY DURABLE, Easy to hold, slender design with well placed buttons, decent navigation, front and rear camera, wifi hotspot, packed with fun and useful features, beautiful display, very good outdoor photos

All the usual: poor battery life, average speakers, crappy indoor photos, yadda-yadda. What kills the amazing nature of this phone is the lousy Qik video chat software, which is nearly useless. It is the ONLY disappointing feature of this phone.
