HTC HD2 review

Could a Windows Mobile phone actually challenge the iPhone?

Responsive touchscreen ; Fast processor ; Decent range of media playback options ; Dual LED flash for the camera ; Sense integration into Windows Mobile

Screen is far too big for some ; Messaging is fiddly ; Phone can still slow down on the odd occasion ; Opera doesn't support Flash playback ; Poor camera

A brilliant effort from HTC that almost completely hides the fact it's based on Windows Mobile. However, at 4.3 inches the screen is likely to put off a lot of users.

HTC knows how to steal the show. On the day that Microsoft "officially" unleashed Windows Mobile 6.5 on the world, HTC pulled the covers off the HD2 , their flagship Windows Phone and one that leaves other Windows Mobile devices in its wake.

HTC Sense makes Windows Mobile user friendly, Wi-Fi router option is great, fully packed tech specs

Might be just too big for some, Windows Market Place still lacking, sharp edge makes calls uncomfortable

The HTC HD2 gives you a full smartphone experience from all angles. The tech specs are fully loaded, giving you HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a digital compass, accelerometers, proximity sensors (so it knows when it is next to your face…). You get that...

Power is evident, excellent design, staggering weather app, screen

Might just be too big to use as a phone

HTC HD2 review

The HTC HD2 is easily the best Windows Mobile handset we've tested.

The HTC HD2 is easily the best of the Windows Mobile handsets we've reviewed, and we have no hesitation in awarding the HTC HD2 a Recommended badge.

With a huge 4.3in 800 x 480 capacitive touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor and features galore, this Sense-interface Windows phone has to be seen to be believed.

The HTC HD2 is a top-notch phone that usurps every handset on just about every front when it comes to features and hardware. And if that's all you want, then we'd recommend you get one! However, its sheer size and Windows Mobile operating system will...

If you don't want to get an iPhone, then it's possible the HTC HD2 could be what you're after; it's not perfect but it's pretty close

Huge screen, good resolution ; design has serious wow factor ; customisable home screen looks great ; HTC Sense is smart

HTC Sense and Windows Mobile makes it rather busy ; streaming video struggled ; audio lacks a little detail

Mixed bag with music and movies Over to music and movies and the HTC produces mixed results. Music stored on an SD card is full-bodied and evenly balanced, giving just a little away in terms of detail and dynamics to the Apple iPhone 3GS, with support...

HTC HD2 Review

Windows Mobile doesn't support capacitive touchscreens, the better-looking, easier-to-use kind of screen used on the iPhone, for instance. But HTC has rewritten core Windows Mobile applications to make…

HTC HD2 incelemesi

HTC HD2 review -

The largest mobile screen to date, the 4.3-inch high definition display simply sparkles and enhances the web, media and mapping experience

HTC should hold its heads in shame at not including a memory card of any description to make up for the miserly 448MB of on-board memory

HTC Touch HD2… A phone like no other

Since I plugged my AT&T 3G Card in my Touch HD2, I have not found time to use my iPhone, yet… Elegant, Fast, with a brilliant UI, the Touch HD2 is really something that I was expecting for a very long time in the Window Phones world.Yes, the Touch HD2...
