BlackBerry Style Review

Before we begin, feel free to take a look at the unboxing of this purple people eater over here: [UNBOXING] to see the excellence in the box and the niceness of the feel of the phone in the hand. Then look below to see how actually working with this...

This is a phone for people familiar with the BlackBerry OS, people that’ve used a BlackBerry phone before, and those who have a strong love for the BlackBerry system. I found it to be a phone with alright capabilities, and it’s always cool to be able...

BlackBerry Style review: BlackBerry Style

The RIM BlackBerry Style combines a clamshell form factor and a full QWERTY keyboard. It ships with BlackBerry OS 6, which has an improved user interface, a new WebKit browser, and a better multimedia experience. Call quality was impressive.

The Style's square design may be a bit bulky for some users, and the keyboard is a touch too flat for our tastes.

Despite a few quirks, the RIM BlackBerry Style's practical design and advanced feature set make it a great smartphone for BlackBerry newbies and veterans alike.

BlackBerry Style review:

The BlackBerry Style marks RIM's second-ever handset to ship with BlackBerry OS 6 (the first was the BlackBerry Torch ), and it's also the first BlackBerry to have both a clamshell design and a full QWERTY keyboard. RIM has experimented with a flip...

Research In Motion BlackBerry Style

The flip phone is a dying breed, but RIM is trying to bring it back with its latest handset, the BlackBerry Style ($100 with a two-year contract from Sprint; price as of October 27, 2010). The Style sports a compact design and the latest version of the...

The compact BlackBerry Style is ideal for heavy messagers who don't want a light handset, but photo junkies may be disappointed with the mediocre camera.

Taylor's BlackBerry Style (Sprint) review | PhoneDog

The BlackBerry Style is the first of its kind for RIM. They've had flip-style devices before, but this is their first full-QWERTY flip phone. BlackBerry has been known to deliver an unequaled email experience with deep enterprise...

Being the first of its nature for RIM, the Style is an example of passable execution. A huge benefit to this over its brother, the 9650, is that it ships with BlackBerry 6, but using BlackBerry 6 without a touchscreen is just plain weird. I know the...

BlackBerry Style Review by Taylor

The BlackBerry Style is the first of its kind for RIM. They've had flip-style devices before, but this is their first full-QWERTY flip phone.

Fairly cheap price tag ($99.99 with two-year contract after $100 mail-in rebate); “new” clamshell design; easily pocketable; no butt dialing; BlackBerry 6; decent camera; good battery life

The screen is almost at too much of an angle, very glossy face, easily scratched and fingerprint magnet; the keyboard is a little different from any other BlackBerry and I found it a little difficult to get used to ; The Verdict: The BlackBerry Style...

BlackBerry Style Review

Research in Motion goes back to the drawing board to come up with a flip device that doesn't have the drawbacks of the Pearl 3G. The end result, the BlackBerry Style, combines a full QWERTY keyboard, a sleek design and all the features of BlackBerry OS...

The BlackBerry Style has a lot of reasons to love it, and just a few things to hold it back. It has a good design, a solid build and a very strong operating system. I personally like the style and shape of the device, but I have heard some dissent on...

"Great tool, durable, easy to use phone,Text or email"

GREAT device for people who use a phone and text as a tool not a toy. Durable, reliable device. Strong, stable OS. Everything a professional person needs to stay in contact, whenever, wherever no matter what. Keyboard could be a hair larger with keys...

Slim-small pocket sized, maller than most . Outside/inside screens. Qwerty keyboard. Very Durable. Ive dropped, stepped on and smashed it. No probs. Stable OS. I don't reboot for months and no probs.

Keyboard keys could have a more pronounced dimple on them for better tactile feel
