Blackberry Curve 9360

Like a TOWIE cast member the Blackberry Curve 9360 is slim and cheap, but does it have any class?

Great keyboard, BBM messaging service, Low price tag, Good battery life, BB 7 OS feels dated

Tiny screen, Doesn't support touch input

BlackBerry Curve 9360 review

High-end specs in a budget BlackBerry shell

Slim and good-looking ; Camera with flash ; Screen great for price ; Browser displays websites well ; Nice to see OS 7 on a cheaper smartphone

Photos aren't brilliant ; Battery paltry ; We'd kill for some updated games ; Phone book could do with a lick of paint ; Web pages take ages to load

With users rushing to denounce BlackBerry and announce they'll leave the platform, RIM really needs to pull a belter out of the bag to put the horrors of 2011 behind it.

BlackBerry Curve 9360 Review: In Depth

Succeeding the wildly successful Curve 9300, the Blackberry Curve 9360 is the baby of the Blackberry family, offering many of the standout features RIM is famous for, such as email and messenger, but…

Svelte design and solid build ; Affordable price ; BBM and email ; Resigned interface

No touchscreen ; Lack of HD movie capture ; Limited apps

BlackBerry Curve 9360

For those who prefer QWERTY over touch, Research In Motion offers the sleek BlackBerry Curve 9360. We take its digit-loving keyboard for a spin.

Thin great QWERTY experience battery life stylish less laggy when multitasking compared to 9380.

No touch-and-type not the best photo quality during poorly lit conditions volume rocker on the side hard to press only VGA recording.

BlackBerry Curve 9360 review

Among the recent glut of BlackBerry, the Curve 9360 is theone that sits closest to the classic style, with its full QWERTYkeyboard sitting beneath a 2.4-inch screen.

Quality QWERTY keyboard, lightweight, Wi-Fi, 3G, 5MP camera

Lack of apps in BlackBerry App World

It's unlikely to win new converts to the BlackBerry way, but ifyou're already a fan, the Curve 9360 has plenty going for it,including its quality QWERTY keyboard, sleek casing and decent5-megapixel camera. Pity there is isn't more on offer in App...

RIM BlackBerry Curve 9360 Qwerty smartphone

Review There's been a rash of activity from RIM recently, with a range of subtly different BlackBerry models designed to appeal to different segments of the smart phone market. The Curve 9360 is towards the budget end but still packs in a full Qwerty...

On this evidence, BlackBerry’s lower end Curve range is moving steadily up the capability ladder and if you’re a fan of BBM it’s well worth a look. If you're unlikely to fall for the charms of BBM, then there's growing range of budget Android handsets,...

BlackBerry Curve 9360

The Curve 9360 is the sequel to last year's BlackBerry Curve 3G - one of the best-selling smartphones of 2010. Like its brother, the 9360 is aimed directly at the younger market, thanks to its portrait QWERTY keypad and Instant Messaging smarts, but...

The BlackBerry Curve 9360 will undoubtedly be a popular device amongst text-heavy youths and first-time BlackBerry users, but it'll struggle to appeal to busy professionals. Still, that's not what RIM aimed to do with this cheap-and-cheerful handset,...

BlackBerry Curve 9360 Review

We can't recommend the Blackberry Curve 9360 because it not only has no touchscreen but we can think of several other Android devices that boast decent keyboards at lower prices, and offer a better choice of apps

Less expensive than other BlackBerrys; excellent keyboard; usual BlackBerry functions

Dearth of apps; lacks touchscreen ; We can’t recommend the Blackberry Curve 9360 because it not only has no touchscreen but we can think of several other Android devices that boast decent keyboards at lower prices, and offer a better choice of apps

Having to use a trackpad instead of a touchscreen is just too dated for us – so if you’re tempted to buy a BlackBerry on a contract we suggest you spend that bit more and get the far more desirable Bold 9900.
