BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300

BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 has added 3G support to its entry-level handset, but are the results any good?

BlackBerry Curve 9300 review

A quick and clever QWERTY-toting BlackBerry for the budget-conscious

Physical QWERTY keyboard is excellent for text ; Media controls are conveniently located ; BB OS 6 upgrade coming soon ; Battery life is good ; Optical trackpad is improvement on rollerball

Camera is a little underpowered ; Feels a little cheap and plasticky ; Out-dated OS is not intuitive ; Apps are expensive and less varied ; Didn't handle low-reception areas well

The BlackBerry Curve 9300 looks like yet another BlackBerry handset. Its full QWERTY keyboard sits below a 2.4-inch screen, with the 2-megapixel camera on the reverse.

BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 Review: In Depth

The BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300, as its name suggests, is a 3G-enabled phone that's an upgrade of the 3G-less Curve 8520 phone. We took it to town to test out its web-browsing capabilities and see what…

BlackBerry Curve 3G review

RIM has kitted out its entry-level BlackBerry Curve smartphone with 3G connectivity. The BlackBerry Curve 3G smartphone looks identical to the BlackBerry Curve 8520, but adds 3G and GPS capabilities.

BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 (AT&T) review

RIM might be struggling against the big Android and iOS competition with higher-end handhelds, but there still remains a strong BlackBerry contingent who wants that familiar keyboard feel that the Curve 3G 9300 offers. The recent RIM BlackBerry Curve...

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is slim and compact, with a responsive optical touch pad, convenient external media keys, Wi-Fi, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, and a 2-megapixel camera.

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is not too different from its predecessors, and remains a fairly basic smartphone.

The RIM BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is a decent entry-level BlackBerry with a couple of modern features like 3G and GPS, but we wish it was more affordable.

BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300

We've seen more and more entry-level touchscreen handsets recently, so it's a refreshing change to get our hands on another smartphone with a proper keypad – the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300. Sitting at the affordable end of RIM's BlackBerry range, it...

If you're only interested in a phone for calls, emails and texting, the BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 is ideal. The keyboard means you'll be able to text easily at speed, and quality is also good. It's not so good when it comes to web browsing, however,...

BlackBerry Curve 9300 review -

Synching the phone with multiple email addresses is a straightforward process, with multiple accounts supporting push email

Despite supporting HSDPA and Wi-Fi, the video streaming process was very stop start

REVIEW: BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300

In this day and age, having a 3G connection on your smartphone shouldn't really be a selling feature. It should be a given, like saying that your smartphone has the ability to update Twitter or organize your schedule. Even so, it seems that one of the...

The BlackBerry Curve 9300 is definitely a lesser BlackBerry, but the price reflects that. The camera leaves much to be desired, the keyboard isn't the most comfortable thing in the world, and web surfing can be an exercise in frustration.

BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300

Research In Motion has done the obvious to improve this modern classic - adding 3G. But that is not what we are most excited about.

3G included, great email and apps, can upgrade to OS6.

Still the same screen and battery, boring 2 megapixel camera.

BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 review

The latest BlackBerry is here. However, without the as-yet-unreleased OS 6, should anyone but serious email addicts even consider it? Read on for our verdict.

RIM’s new BlackBerry Curve 3G is likely to find its greatest appeal among budget-conscious newcomers to the smartphone world rather than existing smartphone veterans. It delivers mobile email as efficiently as ever. Unfortunately, its two megapixel...
