Blackberry Curve 8300 review

Blackberry gets firmly on the consumer curve

Peerless email interface ; Great Qwerty keypad

No 3G or Wi-Fi ; Memory card slot awkward to use

It's definitely a consumer smartphone, but Blackberry's traditional strengths remain its best suit

BlackBerry 8300 Curve Smartphone - Pocket-lint

Overall though - we like it, like it a lot

Easy to use, full QWERTY keyboard, size, media features

no 3G or Wi-Fi

The Curve is more of the same from BlackBerry and while it doesn’t push any boundaries - there is still no 3G or Wi-Fi support here, the new form factor is great for those looking for a small package but not wanting to sacrifice that QWERTY keyboard.

BlackBerry Curve 8300

BlackBerry has the consumer market in its sight with the Curve 8300. Does it hit the target?

The Curve is certainly a neat little BlackBerry, small and light, and comfortable to use. I'd have liked Wi-Fi and 3G but at least RIM is clearly working hard at developing its multimedia capabilities. For a first attempt in that respect the Curve does...

"Trackball fans will be pleased to know that the traditional BlackBerry trackball makes a return here."

Needless to say the BlackBerry Curve 8300's main feature is its full Qwerty keyboard. Trackball fans will be pleased to know that the traditional BlackBerry trackball makes a return here, despite other BlackBerries introducing optical trackpads. The...

BlackBerry Curve review -

The Curve still retains what makes BlackBerry so successful: ease of use, email on the move and a great QWERTY keyboard

BlackBerry continues to give 3G and Wi-Fi a wide berth and, while the multimedia presence is welcome, it's not the most realised

BlackBerry Curve inceleme

G eride bıraktığımız birkaç sene içerisinde cep telefonlarının boyutları ciddi anlamda küçüldü. İlk nesil cep telefonları son derece büyük boyutlardaydı ve harici antenleri ve ağır gövdeleri teflonları sürekli yanınızda taşıma konusunda sıkıntı...

Blackberry Curve 8300 Review

RIM have recently sent us two devices to review, one of which we did earlier last week which was the Pearl. Now we check out the 8300 Curve which borrows ...

The Curve combines the best of the Pearl with the classic style of the past models to produce a near perfect solution for email on the fly - only set to be past by the newer RIM BlackBerry 8820 we thinks.

RIM - BlackBerry Curve 8300

Think BlackBerry and you probably think 'mobile e-mail'. And rightly so. After all, BlackBerry has claimed mobile e-mail as its own territory, even though other devices, including Symbian phones and Windows Mobile Smartphones, can do mobile ...

It's a shame there is no Wi-Fi and that the quad-band Curve is not 3G, but these things aside the BlackBerry Curve is a well featured and versatile device.

A desirable form factor that doesn't compromise on usability.
