T-Mobile BlackBerry 8700

If you absolutely, positively MUST have your email on the move, you want one of these.

So, I’ve established that the BlackBerry push email client is superb, but the other half of the equation is the hardware that it runs on. What I’m looking at here is the BlackBerry 8700, which is the successor to the hugely popular 7290. Although the...

BlackBerry 8700g

For a while there it looked as though push email would be shoved off the mobile map. But now Research in Motion (RIM) the company behind the Blackberry has reached a $612.5 million settlement with software company NTP it looks as though the millions of...

Great screen, excellent keyboard and easy to use service

It’s a big beast, so surely there’s room for a camera and a memory expansion slot

Without doubt the 8700g is the best BlackBerry to date, but the really good news is that the service is here to stay.

BlackBerry 8700g (T-Mobile) review

RIM BlackBerry 8700g Ever since the Research in Motion-vs.-NTP battle escalated, we haven't heard too much from RIM in terms of product announcements--until now. Along with T-Mobile, RIM introduced the BlackBerry 8700g at CTIA this year, replacing the...

The RIM BlackBerry 8700g offers easy e-mail setup and adds support for popular instant-messaging clients. The quadband 8700g also comes with an Intel processor, EDGE speeds, Bluetooth 2.0, a speakerphone, and a full QWERTY keyboard.

The BlackBerry 8700g's keyboard feels a bit cheap and slippery. Also, there are no expansion options, and we encountered some problems viewing PDFs on the device.

The RIM BlackBerry 8700g offers T-Mobile consumer and business users a robust, user-friendly messaging device and cell phone with great performance.

Blackberry 8700g

If you need mobile email, Blackberry is still the obvious choice. This latest version of the classic has a better screen and all the strengths we expect.

BlackBerry 8700

This is a very good BlackBerry that will please fans of the mobile e-mail device. It's not a Windows or Palm-killer, though.

RIM Blackberry 8700G

It's hard to imagine life before the BlackBerry. Well, maybe that's exaggerating. But it's certainly true we depend on pocket-sized devices that fulfi...

Strong e-mail and browser features, helpful memo lists and the ; speakerphone function

None to speak of

This is a solid business communications tool with a lot of key features.

Blackberry 8700c pre-pre-reviewed

BBHub has what amounts to a pre-pre-review of the Blackberry 8700c from a seemingly reliable source for such RIM goodies. Not a lot of surprises, the source finds that built-in EDGE, along with the new Intel processor, made use "much faster", and of...

RIM Blackberry 8700G Smart Phone

The BlackBerry 8700g, the latest addition to RIM's 8700 series of PDA/phones, adds more of a consumer flavor to BlackBerry's notoriously business-geared devices. To the BlackBerry's already stellar messaging capabilities, it adds support for consumer...

Excellent e-mail and messaging device Adds support for consumer IM networks

Lacks a camera

Overall, the 8700g is an impressive e-mail device, but it seems caught between its roles as a powerful enterprise tool and a handy consumer gadget. As a business tool, the 8700g could benefit from more office apps, and if RIM really wants to target...

The 8700g is more consumer-friendly than other BlackBerry devices, but it still lacks a camera.
