Acer Liquid E review

Acer's second Android phone adds an Eclair 2.1 update

Great screen ; Android 2.1 ; Google Maps Navigation ; NemoPlayer widget ; Fast processor

Poor messaging ; Cheap design ; Standard Android camera ; No access to internal storage ; Lazy incarnation of Android

As a relative smartphone newcomer, Acer entered the Android playpen last year with the Liquid S100. It was a decent first effort, but very a bold manoeuvre.

Acer Liquid E Ferrari Special Edition review

Acer's latest Ferrari tie up is here. But is it as classy as Alonso or as naff as Bruno Senna?

A competent rather than spectacular Android smartphone, even with the Prancing Horse paintjob

Acer Liquid E review -

Excellent web browser; friendly interface; Google Maps supports voice navigation

The slightly unresponsive touch-screen with sluggish keyboard means email isn?t a great feature despite an excellent email interface; flimsy hardware, mediocre camera

The Acer Liquid E is a solid Android smartphone. Pretty much unskinned, it lets you get to Android in its native state, plus there is a large screen, good battery life and some neat tweaks such as those top-mounted alert lights.
