Have to agree with the review. I paid extra for this model over it's lesser cousin. I wanted the extra ram and graphics to handle video editing, photoshop and Corel painter software without any performance issues. I have owned the laptop for two months...

Sony VAIO VPC-X11Z1E/X notebook

By Andrew Tiney (pocket-lint.com)

We put the X-series on trial

Amazingly small, thin and light, great screen, battery life

Atom processor limits multi-tasking, expensive

Incredibly small and light, this laptop sets the bar for portability, but it’s expensive and has the entire netbook market snapping at its heels

PS Vita review

By James Rivington (techradar.com)

Updated Sony's latest attempt to lift a slice of the handheld pie so ably scoffed by Nintendo is the new PS Vita handheld console.

Incredible gaming ; Solid construction ; Brilliant screen ; Dual analogue sticks

There's a learning curve ; No internal storage ; Prorietary-tastic ; That browser

It's an absolutely brilliant handheld gaming console, held back from true greatness by a few small niggles. Said niggles will no doubt become less of a big deal over time - and the likes of Amazon are already selling the console for less than its list...

Sony VAIO VPCYB3V1E review

By (expertreviews.co.uk)

Sony's latest take on the low-powered ultraportable form factor is the Sony Vaio YB3V1E, an update to the VPC-YB2M1E which was launched just six months ago. It weighs the same as the average netbook, but has a bigger, higher resolution screen.

A high resolution screen and fantastic keyboard, but performance and battery life are underwhelming

Sony VAIO Z Series review

By Chris Barraclough (techradar.com)

Incredible performance and portability from Sony's latest Z Series laptop

Intel Core i7 ower ; Shar and vibrant screen ; Long battery life ; Slim and light ; Docking station adds more value

Shallow keyboard ; Cramed touchad ; Plain design ; Flimsy lid

With its incredible combination of power and portability, this is the best ultra-portable laptop of recent times. It may lack the glamour of some of its rivals, but the Sony VAIO VPC-Z21V9E is worth its high pricetag.

Sony Vaio VPCS13V9E/B review

By Paul Monckton (pcadvisor.co.uk)

Although not exactly inexpensive, the Sony Vaio VPCS13V9E/B costs a good deal less than Toshiba’s Tecra M11-17W. However unless you're into a bit of gaming on the weekend you could probably save even more money by going for a model without the nVidia...

Sony CA1S1E review

By (expertreviews.co.uk)

Sony VAIO laptops have always been some of the most stylish around, and the CA1S1E is no exception. The smooth plastic body feels sturdy and the transparent keyboard surround looks great, but this laptop is more than just a looker – it's also the first...

The CA1S1E is a great showcase for the new mobile Sandy Bridge processors. It’s a stylish laptop with great performance.

Sony Vaio S series (VPC-S13V9E/B) review

By Niall Magennis (cnet.co.uk)

The Sony Vaio VPC-S13V9E/B offers good performance and some neat features, such as an onboard mobile-broadband modem. But we're not sure this 13.3-inch laptop warrants its hefty price tag.

Fast processor ; Decent battery life ; Good build quality ; Great keyboard

Average graphics performance ; Screen resolution could be better ; Expensive

The Sony Vaio VPC-S13V9E/B is far from the slimmest and lightest 13-inch laptop we've seen, and there's no doubt that this negatively affects its desirability. Nevertheless, Sony has built a solid machine that's comfortable to use and offers generally...

But we're not completely convinced it justifies its high asking price.

Sony Vaio VPCCA1S1E hands-on test

By Luke Westaway (cnet.co.uk)

We admire Sony's guts for giving the Vaio VPCCA1S1E such an unusually luminous design. Not everyone will like it, but we do, and the laptop's performance should be good too. This 14-inch laptop is one to watch.

Bright, bold and quirky design ; Meaty Intel Core i5 processor ; Dedicated graphics card

Colourful design definitely isn't for everyone

The Sony Vaio VPCCA1S1E looks like a reasonably priced machine that will offer solid performance. If you like its design, it could be well worth a look. Stay tuned for a full review soon

Sony Vaio VPC-EE2S1E/B review

By (expertreviews.co.uk)

Sony has equipped its latest Vaio laptop with one of AMD's latest processors, the triple-core Phenom II X3 P820. Even though it's paired with 4GB of RAM, its performance in our benchmarks was so slow we reran the tests just to be sure. It came at the...

Sony's latest Vaio looks sleek, but it's not fast enough in everyday applications compared to other laptop, and it has unusually short battery life.
