A modern netbook

Solid and thin design ; Good keyboard ; Battery life

As long as you don't mind the limited storage capacities and lack of configurability, the IdeaPad 100S is a solidly built netbook at an attractive price that comes with the power of Windows 10.

The Lenovo IdeaPad 100S-11 is a well-built ultraportable laptop that features a lightweight design, competent performance, and more than 11 hours of battery life, at a very low price.

Very inexpensive. Light and well-made build. Excellent battery life in testing.

32-bit OS. Narrow viewing angles on display. Keyboard exhibits some flex. Average performance on some of our tests.

This tiny 11-inch laptop does a lot for a rock-bottom price.

The Lenovo 100S has a colorful, fingerprint-resistant shell, a great keyboard and excellent battery life.

Without a touchscreen, the outdated touchpad is even more frustrating. It will slow down under moderate workloads, and the low-resolution screen is as basic as it gets.

The Lenovo Ideapad 100S has the best keyboard we've seen on a low-budget laptop, and more than enough battery life to get through day, but a dated touchpad holds it back.
