Business and more? About a year ago we put the predecessor model, the 8460p, to the test. The manufacturer HP now introduces the EliteBook 8470p as the successor, although it has the same old look, the internal components have been revamped.

Robust metal case, Clean processing, Good input devices, High data security, Application performance, Well cooled case, Excellent input devices

Bulky appearance, Poor contrast display, No switchable graphics, The EliteBooks have gotten big, fast

Very robust feeling laptop with stylish business look. Powerful enough for Microsoft Flight Sim Steam Edition with PMDG add ons. Laptop arrived in 24hrs as indicated to a collect+ point. Handy.

Poor website product spec that has conflicting info. I really should get a 25% refund. (1) Twice, in the headline box and detailed spec states an i5-3470 processor, which has a CPU benchmark PassMark score of 6613, which is what I was hoping for. Well...

Solid construction, hope the implication is it will last.

Wouldn't have purchased if I'd realised the Optical drive was ROM only. Thought I saw DVD RW on the ad but I looked at so many I might be confused!
