Dell Latitude 12 5000 (E5250) review

A solid but unspectacular laptop

Sturdy construction ; High quality ergonomics ; Good business features ; Interior access

Poor screen quality ; Bulkier than rivals ; Lacks processing power ; Battery life disappoints

Dell's latest is sturdy, ergonomically sound and has good business features, but rivals are slicker, lighter, faster and longer-lasting, with better screens – and they don't cost much more, either.

A business laptop with a solid build quality, plenty of useful features, and high user comfort

Strong build quality ; Neat port layout ; Great keyboard

Screen could be better ; SSD's write speed could be faster

Dell Latitude 12 E5250 (Broadwell) review: A small, sturdy workhorse of a laptop

This 12-inch business laptop may be easier to fit into a bag, but it's not much lighter than its 14- and 15-inch cousins.

Solid feeling ; Good performance

Not really thin nor light

The Latitude 12 E5250 is a capable laptop with state-of-the-art connectivity and good performance. Personally, I’d opt for a Latitude 14 or 15 with a larger display and keyboard at roughly the same weight. But tastes vary, and if you or your business...

Dell Latitude 12 5000 Series Review

Dell sells the Latitude line as business class notebooks, and the 5000 series that we received is the mainstream line for business. The Latitude 12 is the smallest model offered, with a 12.5- inch 16:9 display in a fairly small form factor. This is no...

The 5000 series is Dell’s midrange lineup, and it has been fairly impressive. Solid, ergonomic, good display, and great battery life. Dell has crafted a business laptop that should keep any office worker productive, and mobile.

Dell Latitude 12 E5250 Notebook Review

Little business partner. Following the positive rating of Dell's Latitude E5450 product line, we tested the 12.5-inch Latitude E5250. However, it did not completely fulfill the high expectations.

Build, Input devices, Optional docking and battery solution, System performance, Noise emissions, Maintenance, NFC

One year warranty only, Screen's brightness, Viewing angle stability, Battery only replaceable after base tray removal, SIM card slot difficult to access

Though Dell's Latitude E5250 is 1.5-inches smaller than its 14-inch sister, it is nevertheless a well-conceived business laptop. The casing not only compels with its elegant yet basic looks but also with its impeccable build. Unfortunately, the display...

Dell Latitude 12 5000 Series (E5250) laptop

Dell's Latitude E5250 won't look like anything special to most people. It has a square design, a dark, single-colour paint scheme, and its thickness is perhaps a little too much for people who are used to Ultrabook-style offerings. But it's a busines...
