Asus ZenBook S: This one design trick keeps you comfortable while you work

All the stuff you'd expect from a high-end ultraportable, plus a clever hinge that makes working anywhere a little more pleasant.

The Asus ZenBook S UX391U is a well-built premium ultraportable that sets itself apart from the pack with a hinge design that tilts the body's back up for better cooling and more comfortable typing. Asus includes a sleeve and USB-C adapters for USB-A...

While battery life is good, it's not as good as others in the category and it still runs hot despite the extra airflow the design provides.

Subtly stylish and durable and with strong performance to back it up, the Asus ZenBook S UX391U is a fine ultraportable if you spend more time working in coffee shops than an office.

Asus ZenBook S (UX391UA)

From its chic dark-blue design to its comfortable tilted keyboard and crisp 4K display, the Asus ZenBook S represents a good deal on a good-looking ultrabook.

Super-slim design with keyboard-tilt hinge. Sunny 4K touch screen. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports plus USB-C.

Battery life could be better. Soft speakers. No memory-card slot. HDMI and USB Type-A require use of (bundled) dongles.

Bottom Line: From its chic dark-blue design to its comfortable tilted keyboard and crisp 4K display, the Asus ZenBook S represents a good deal on a good-looking ultrabook.
