Logitech G910 Orion Spark review

A competent, hardcore keyboard that also translates well to the casual user

Sleek design ; Thoughtful key placement ; Robust customization ; No key ghosting

Pricey ; No key "click" sound ; Desk hog

The G910 is blast to use and whether you're a hardcore gamer or not, you'll enjoy the abundance of thoughtful features in the keyboard if you can swing the price and desk real estate.

Verdict

One has to expect a lot from a keyboard costing £160 and to be fair the Logitech G910 Orion Spark delivers plenty, but it is let down by some odd software design decisions that allows the G910 to just fall shy of the mark…

Logitech G910 ‘Orion Spark’ Mechanical Keyboard Review

We have seen a sudden influx of RGB based products over the last few months. Corsair has launched a new line of peripherals, Razer swiftly followed suit with its Chroma lineup and now Logitech is jumping in with the Orion Spark G910 Mechanical...

Romer-G switches are fantastic.

Key layout could be improved.

Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum

The Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum builds on the strengths of its predecessor, the G910 Orion Spark, while cutting the fat. This results in a stronger, more streamlined gaming keyboard.

Attractive, customizable lighting. Software comes with many convenient preloaded lighting profiles. Nine dedicated macros. 113-key rollover.

Arx Dock is better in concept than execution.

Conclusion The Logitech G910 Orion Spectrum makes a strong case for eliminating excess. The slimmer wrist rest and flatter keycaps are small, but meaningful changes that improve the overall typing/gaming experience and allow the Spectrum's excellent...

Logitech G910 Orion Spark

Serious gamers will love the customizable features of the Logitech G910 Orion Spark. But if you're using this keyboard for anything besides gaming, the asymmetrical key layout might not be ideal.

Unique keycap design is great for gaming. Proprietary key switches offer an alternative to Cherry MX switches. Software offers customization, stat tracking, and lighting controls. Built-in smartphone dock and media controls. Programmable macro keys....

Asymmetrical keycap layout isn't great for for non-gamers.

Conclusion The Logitech G910 Orion Spark is a solid gaming keyboard with some interesting features, but it's perhaps a little too gaming-oriented. While the customizable features are great, the design—particularly the asymmetrical distribution of the...

Logitech Orion Spark G910 mechanical keyboard: Premium performance at a price

After an extensive period of using the Logitech Orion Spark G910 Mechanical Keyboard, we finally give our verdict. Is it the best mechanical gaming keyboard available now? Find out in this review!

Custom designed key caps that guide your fingers in ; Backlights bright and clear ; Roamer-G keys as comfortable and responsive as Cherry MX or Topre keys ; Lots of shortcut and macro keys with customization options ; Arx Dock

Placement of some customizable keys ; Keyboard stands not high enough ; Arx Control app cumbersome to use ; USB cable hardwired into keyboard ; No built-in USB hub ; Wrist rest could be improved for comfort

In the end, it all boils down to what you want in a keyboard. If you want to try something new and don't mind the short keyboard legs, then the Logitech Orion Spark G910 is something you should seriously consider getting. It's priced decently for what...

Logitech G910 Orion Spark Review and Ratings

The G910 Orion Spark is a great keyboard for light-loving newbies, but we wish it could do a little more (or that others, with much more time on their hands, could program new lighting tricks).

Bright, lovely lighting ; Ample function keys ; Easy-to-use software ; Quiet key action for a mechanical board

Needs more customizations and effects ; No USB ports ; Supplemental smartphone app is so-so ; No real user community of lighting/effect enthusiasts

Logitech's G910 Orion Spark is a pretty good RGB LED keyboard for most people. It's not the keyboard we'd recommend for hard-core gamers who can't tear themselves away from more precise, click-clack mechanical keys, nor the best keyboard for people who...
