You need to connect the 360 via optical cable to get true 5.1, as for TV connect it via HDMI or optical (u might need an optical splitter ) class surround sound with plenty of power!!

Much much easier way of sorting that out for all you need is an optical cable to go from the TV to the DVD player. This will transmit any sound that would normally only come through the TV, I.E. your xbox or anything on the TV will be in surround sound...

dino wot u have to do is get a a cable with a left n right speaker one end RCA and a headphone jack the other side, plug da heaphone jack into ur tv n rca to cinema system the put it into prologic mode n this enables 5.1 thru just left and right...

i feel bad wasting a review doing this but does anyone know how to get the sound from my tv not just dvds through the speakers? and how to link up my xbox?

Great deep surround sound!! Looks great and provides the best sound for your dvd's. (Just how they were ment to be viewed!!) makes your dvd's jump right next to you, and with this quality you're almost in the movie! Only draw back is the set dosent...
