Samsung HT-D5100 review

An affordable system, with a decent selection of apps, but not best in class

Price ; detailed high-def pictures ; inoffensive sound ; Smart Hub works well

No HDMI inputs ; inaccurate auto set-up ; lacks subtlety and musicality of the best

There’s a lot to be said for this affordable system; not the best in class though

Cracking system Fits in with my Samsung TV. Small and compact speakers but plenty of punch and sound

Handset controls TV too. ie Turns it on and off when you don't want it to.

Excellent system

OK, so my previous system was 10 years old, but even so, the quality of this system is outstanding. Cannot fault the picture quality and sond quality in bluray. Only 'fault' is it does say in instructions that sound from TV and Ipod will only come...

Great sound and picture, Especially as the speakers are small...Far superior to my old tallboys. Also stacked with features and plays almost any format disc or data off usb too!
