Superb piece of tech

I have bought it only couple weeks ago, but already in love with this HTS. Probably the best among lower end systems.

It plays ANYTHING ; Has USB input ; Great, great sound ; Very easy region free modification

Great Value

Philips products are a brand name you can trust.

Sound quality from the speakers is awesome for the price. Love the way it looks..sleek and black ; Easy to hook up and the speakes are small enough to hide if you like. If you want bang for your buck this system is for you

Pretty good

It serves it purpose for me. I've never had a nice system like Bose or anything so I have nothing to compare it to. I've got it hooked up to my computer and have no complaints with the exception of the dock.

The system sounds great. I've got it hooked up in my bedroom and I'm pretty satisfied with it

I'm not a fan of the iPod dock. I mean yeah it works and you can control the ipod with the remote but I guess I expected some visual. The dock is only audio connectivity. If you're not right in front of the iPod, you won't be able to read the artist or...

Great Velue

Sound quality from the 6 speakers is about 85% as good as my former $1,000 Bose system so for under $200 this is a no-brainer. Have read a few reports of DOA or erratic behavior units but mine has been trouble-free for over a year & years of experience...

Great sound & DVD playback in a sleek package. External stand works well with iPhones as well as iPods

One button controls/selects multiple input sources which sometimes forces you to go through 4 or 5 other sources until you reach the one you want to use

Does not work

Philips offers a Buyback option if you're first Rapid Replacement does not work. It's slightly uncomfortable they even have such a contingency plan for their products.

Does not turn on. I ordered a similar system from Newegg and received it less than a week later. (Newegg rocks!) ; Unfortunately, it didn't work. Called Philips and they put me in the Rapid Replacement program. Two weeks later, received this model....

I am loving the HTS-3566

Systems I tested, only the Philips HTS-3565 produce 5.1 surround sound when watching live HDTV. Without adjusting ANY of the volume or balance controls, sounds great from anywhere in my master suite. Video Upconverts DVD to 1080p with excellent picture...

I believe it is the BEST home theatre system you can buy for under $300

My only issues are the speaker wire configurations and Coaxial Digital Audio input. Speaker wires
