Great System

Bass is a little weak when first using the system, but once used a few times it sounds great. Comes with cables already pre-marked so setting up is very easy. DVD and Blu-Ray discs look and play great. Plenty of audio inputs for your Xbox360, PS3,...

Great price for a whole system. Netflix, Vudu, Youtube, DivxTV, Picasa, and Pandora Radio. So many great features and iPod/iPhone support to play music. Also supports viewing pictures, movies, and listening to music through a USB drive. Great quality...

High pitch whistle sound is heard when system first starts up, but you won't hear it once you start listening to your shows, music, or movies. Updating the system is easy, but it takes a while to download and very rarely does that download not finish...

Netflix, Vudu, Youtube. Powerful System

Subwoofer needs to be broke in before the bass really hits

whistling noise

I hope LG steps up and owns the whistling issue that so many people have complained about.

Netflix, Pandora, play flix on a USB stick

Whistling noise, sounds like a teapot coming from center speaker. My unit was manufactured in March 2010. Called LG to troubleshoot and they want me to pay the labor, since its been 90+ days but its still less than a year old. Very frustrating....

good for HTIB

I first tried Samsung C5500XAA (base was not even noticable). Then Panasonic BT228 & Sony DAVDZ170. On par but but the base on the LG is wasy better.

Best option I tried in this price range. Got it at a BLUEBOX door buster deal for two fourty nine. Wife and kids can operate without me being home

BLUERAY PLAYER WILL NOT PLAY ANY DVD / BLURAY Disc with paper label on the cover. I have made duplicates of my entire library and stored the original DVD/BLURAY in a media safe so my kids don't destroy my original copies. I hope there's a way to take...

Good, but kinda slow

As of the current version of the software it(or i could) not play local network media, will see with updates(if it applies them) The disk drive looks really fragile and super easy to break When first tired to watch a dvd nothing would show on the tc,...

Remote has TV controls built in so just 1 remote is needed ; Plenty of bass, had to bump it up some for my liking, and not overpowering or under powering the other speakers at any level of volume ; No problems with speaker buzzing or anything, when no...

navigating the menus is a bit slow for me but the real problem is that it been tying to update for over 2hours, dropped the connection many times, way too long to download the update (was not using all of the bandwidth it could) then still sitting at...

Great video, bad audio

This is a decent blueray + streaming video box. If that's all you want, it's pretty good but you'll still be paying for a junk audio system.

Tons of features for a good price: blue ray, netflix, pandora, etc

The speaker system is not so great. The sound quality was pretty poor on my unit (and many others from the look of things) and the right front and rear channels both produced an audible whistling sound whenever the unit was turned on

Oh Regrets!

Should have waited for honest/legit reviews before purchasing this HTS. Purchased it right when it came out, oh regrets!

Ipod features ; Blu-Ray ; Setting it up as easy as it gets

Not Enough Bass! Not even when the bass settings are turned up all the way. The bass/treble ratio is way off, idk what LG was thinking. You only hear the bass when you turn it up past 10 but then the speakers play way too loud so you can't get a good...

not bad

If I put my ear to the speakers and listen for it, I can hear the whistling noise noticed by the other reviewers, but do not notice it in general use Definitely worth a shot if you don't want to spend a lot

A ton of features for a good price

Sounds is okay, not great

Whistling sound

I hope LG figures out the issues I have and others here have reported, as I like the idea of this all in one system.

NetCast is a nice feature ; 2 HDMI Inputs ; 2 Optical Inputs ; Small Size - Good User Interface

My unit has a whistling sound coming out of the center and R/L speakers all the time. It is noticeable when the source gets quiet like between songs, changing channels or even when hitting mute. It happens on all sources (optical, HDMI, DVD, NetCast) -...

Buyer beware

The sound quality is OK other than the high pitched noise.

Has a ton of features for not much money

I had two of these units. The first had a high pitched sound coming out of the speakers for the first 10-15 minutes after you turned it on. It would go away but it was very annoying. I thought I just got a bad unit so I RMA'd that one and bought...
