Review: Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 600

Looking for affordable, fully wireless cans for console gaming? Grab the Stealth 600s.

Fully wireless, comfortable, clear sound. Surround sound and other modes are fun to try. Battery life is outstanding at around 15 hours. Great for players who wear glasses. Xbox One version is dongle-free.

Installing firmware updates takes some effort. Superhuman Hearing mode won’t give you the noticeable edge it promises. Fabric on cups is comfortable, but leather still feels cushier.

Turtle Beach Stealth 600 Review: Great Sound; Uncomfortable Design

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 delivers superlative sound for both gaming and music, which is the most important thing a gaming headset should do. However, it doesn't fit very well, its design feels too crowded and its awkward PC interface makes updates...

Excellent gaming and music sound ; Plush ear cups ; Easy wireless connectivity

Awkward fit ; Lackluster mic design ; Limited PC compatibility

The Turtle Beach Stealth 600 is one of the cheaper name-brand wireless headsets, but great sound doesn't fully excuse its awkward design.

TURTLE BEACH Stealth 600 Wireless Gaming Headset - Black & Blue

It’s a comfy head set for long gaming sessions. They fit nicely over my glasses. Sounds great. Mic is also great. Good mixing for chat/game audio in one!

I find it hard to find the function buttons when I’m wearing them, it’s tricky to differentiate between the two whilst wearing them.

TURTLE BEACH Stealth 600 Wireless Gaming Headset - Black & Blue

The sound is great, especially the superhuman hearing mode. Adds a nice extra level to pick up those details.

Sometimes getting a sharp crack when first powering on the headset.

TURTLE BEACH Stealth 600 PS4 Wireless Gaming Headset - White

Great style, sound and love the tuckaway microphone.

Quite heavy and start to feel uncomfortable after a short period of time wearing these.

Great design. Value for money is a bit pricey but not to bad.

Sound could be a bit louder.
