Well constructed, comfortable phones. Fold neat into a supplied case. As far as cans go its the usual Sennheiser not the best quality but good mid range and good value overall.

Paid £199.99 for these headphones, having compared them against the more expensive Bose in store and other cheaper brands.
cheaper than bose, better quality than cheaper phones, long lasting battery life, works without batteries (unlike some brands), good sound quality
slight hiss when only in noise cancelling mode, headphones are fairly bulky and heavy

Jargon is an inevitable by-product when describing a technology, but manufacturers of audio equipment really seem to excel at making things sound complicated. Take the Sennheiser PXC 350 headphones, for example, they have adaptive baffle damping, which...
Great audio quality, noise cancelling excellent, folds to be more compact
Price will be inhibitive for some
Noise cancelling headphones that more than live up to the price tag. Great across a range of audio from iPhone to hi-fi to PC
If you're after a headphone that sounds great, is portable, and has notice cancelling, then you'll not go far wrong with the Sennheiser PXC 350. £150 might make some balk, but they are well worth the money and you'll not be disappointed.

There are two ways to cut out ambient noise. The first is to buy a pair of earphones that wedge into your ear canal. The second is to buy headphones that cut out ambient noise with phase-inversion technology. Step forward the PXC 350s...

Brilliant set of noise-cancelling cans, complete with sound quality at an audiophile-grade level. Although still functional without batteries, sound quality loses its spark when they're taken away. A worthy purchase for the price but the superb...
Sound quality ; Noise cancelling ; Leak-free even at high volume ; Great build quality ; Price ; Lightweight
No 'TalkThrough' feature as seen on PXC 450s ; Less inspiring sound without batteries
If you want the handy TalkThrough feature and improved noise cancelling, sell some old CDs and put it towards getting the model up. Otherwise, the PXC 350s are a stonking good set of cans for an attractive price

Sennheiser PXC-350 are high-end headphones that cancel noise. Each earcup of the headphones is equipped with a dynamic transducer combined with a dual-layer Duofol diaphragm. It is leak-free despite high volumes, light weight, and has great build...
These noise-cancelling headphones are so good you'd struggle to hear Brian Blessed doing a Pavarotti impression if he was standing right in front of you. Sennheiser claims up to 85 per cent of ambient noise is killed off by NoiseGard, and when we...
Unfortunately, the included in-flight adapter didn't fit the sockets on our particular plane (a British Airways Boeing 747), which was a disappointment. You also need a couple of AAA batteries to power the NoiseGard function. Listening to music without...
Nagging partners, crying babies, insufferable mothers-in-law: all can be blocked out by the Sennheiser PXC 350 noise-cancellors. Just make sure you've got the NoiseGard activated first!
The audio cable has gold plating, and can be detached from the headphones.

Sound quality is crisp, with a deep, tuneful lower end and, despite questionable looks, the PXC 350s are more comfortable than physical noise-isolating earphones. The unwieldy battery pack of cheaper models has also gone - pop an AAA battery in each...

Great noise cancelling, comfortable, good audio quality
General lack of control and refinement in the sound, costly
If you're after a high quality pair of noise-cancelling headphones and can do without the TalkThrough feature found on Sennheiser's PXC450, then the cheaper PXC350 are a great alternative.

High-end noise-canceling headphones
The sound quality provided by these headphones is quite good, with music being delivered with clarity. The noise-canceling feature of the headphones is very effective. No sound is leaked out of the headphones when sound is played at high volumes....
These headphones don't perform too well when not equipped with batteries
High-end headphones that provide noise-cancellation as well are pretty rare, and the Sennheiser PXC 350 takes the cake. With durable and lightweight construction as well as active noise-cancellation which uses advanced technology, these headphones...

NoiseGard actively compensates the noise, based on the physics principle of sound and counter-sound.The PXC 350 features the NoiseGard Advance technology. This technology is a further development of the filter functions used in the original NoiseGard system, and enables even better active attenuation of ambient noise of up to 85%. It is of course also possible to use these headphones passively, i.e. without NoiseGard and without batteries.
