First things first; what a brilliant pair of headphones. I have burnt them in now for about 100 hours and they just sound fantastic. Highs, lows, mids, bass - it has it all covered. Soundstage is insane. Gaming, music and films are all a joy. Well and...

The Sennheiser HD 595s sound smashing, and come at an accessible price. The open-back design has many benefits in terms of sound quality, but it does mean these headphones are very leaky, both in terms of your music leaking out and ambient noise...
Great sound quality ; Very comfortable ; Smart headphone bracket included
Extremely leaky ; Not terribly stylish
Likewise, you'll still be able to hear virtually everything going on around you since sound can also leak in through that open back -- not so great on noisy trains
Think about where you plan on using them before buying

These Sennheisers manage to be curvaceous and look sharp. There's Eargonomic acoustic refinement and Duolfol diaphragm technology too
These ‘phones are curvy, comfy and top value – especially good for prolonged ear-melting

In a world where DVD players costing over £100 are now considered virtually high-end, a £150 pair of headphones needs to be pretty darn special. And luckily, these don't disappoint too much
Crystal-clear sound ; Very comfortable
Pricey, but just how much do you like your music

The Sennheiser HD 595 may let some noise in, but we're floored by the audio quality.
Comfortable; very good audio quality
Poor noise isolation; requires good amplifier for best audio quality
The open-back design makes these cans incredibly leaky, but they sound brilliant.

I've had enough. It's been too long since I indulged in a pair of new headphones and I have become over-accustomed with bland, poor quality noise emanating from just about every single digital product in my flat. My fridge has a better bass response...
Sound quality; comfort; all-round excellence
Sound leaks; colour scheme
Design & ComfortBut I say £130 well spent. Sennheiser's HD 595 headphones aren't the most attractive ear gear on the market - or even that Sennheiser have produced. The greeny-grey colours are too military for my liking, as is the metal grill that you...

Tinny noise and my aging eardrums have had a massive falling out and I’ve been compelled to fork out a whole pile of cash on a pair of Sennheiser HD 595 headphones to finally put an end to this madness. Just don’t tell the wife they cost £130….

Professional headphones to enhance your music
This headphone provides great sound quality with booming bass. It is also extremely comfortable to wear
Some mp3 players may find it too hard to pump any volume into these headphones. The closed-back style of the headphones leaks the sound to the outside
