Every pair of earbuds I have ever bought have broken within 2-3 months. 6 months later and these babies are still going strong. The sound quality is great at all volumes and they are vary comfortable. Plus, I can't here any outside noise. Great product.
Terrific sound quality, very cheap! (I picked them up for £6 in HMV!)
After owning them for 6 months (longer than any others have lasted) the earbuds are cracking. There was a replacement pair but I lost them

The JVC Marshmallow headphones represent exceptional value, thanks to their ultra-low price tag, solid audio quality, noise-isolation capability and secure fit
Very inexpensive ; Secure, comfortable fit ; Good audio quality ; Wide variety of colours to match any recent iPod nano
Top part of the cable seems fragile ; Shallow earpiece design may not work for all users
The colouring extends from the earbuds, which have a shiny, clear coating, all the way down the 1m cord, which terminates in a gold-plated, straight plug. Although the cable is quite thin at the Y junction, it includes a slider for preventing tangles,...

Are cheap products good? We test the budget-oriented JVC Marshmallows to see if it offers the goods for less than US$35.
Inexpensive; secure and comfortable fit; good audio quality; choice of colors to match any player
Top part of the cable seems fragile; shallow earpiece design may not work for all users
Even though this in-ear sounds great, we feel it faces stiff competition from cheaper offerings.

Inexpensive and generally comfortable to wear for extended periods. Isolation is excellent, as is the build quality of the headphone. Sound is generally clean sounding, although not exactly neutral
Not the last word is midrange clarity. Cable could be thicker. Foam tips can get rather gross after a few listening sessions. Bass is tad lumpy
For under-$20, it is hard to criticize these in-ear earphones too harshly. Sound quality is certainly above average and the isolation from outside noise is really quite superb. Far better than any other headphone at this price point.

The JVC Marshmallow Inner-ear Headphones are a great choice for users who want comfort and quality as well as a great value. These earbuds have customizable earbud tips that provide more users with additional comfort; our reviewers praised them...
The bass response is fantastic, producing frequencies well below any other pair of earbuds we reviewed
The audio quality, outside of the bass, isn’t very impressive, and the one-year warranty is quite short
While the bass is impressive, it’s one of only a few standout features of the JVC Marshmallow Earbuds.
In addition to the comfortable design, users were also very pleased with the sound quality and the value of these earbuds. These earbuds are breakable, and users should be aware that there is no carrying case provided to ensure their safety when not in...
