Bose SIE2 (Orange)

 

Hoping to tap into the somewhat underserved sports headphones market, Bose has introduced a couple of sporty in-ear models, the SIE2 and SIE2i, which are basically rugged, sweat-resistant versions of its popular IE2 earphones.

The Bose SIE2 and SIE2i earphones fit securely and comfortably, are sweat-resistant, and their "open" design has its appeal. They also offer pleasantly full bass and include a Reebok "fitness" armband for wearing your portable music device.

They're pricey. The included armband won't house the iPhone 5 or new iPod Touch, they let in sound, and no carrying case is included.

While they're no bargain, the Bose SEI2 and SEI2i have an appealing, sweat-resistant design, are very comfortable to wear, and offer decent sound.

Great set of headphones for the gym!

 

I have owned these for about a month now. I previously bought some Bose OE2's and loved them. I am using these SIE2's at the gym. I am a big runner, I spend a lot of time on the treadmill, these hold up like champs and do not fall off, in fact, I don't...

They don't fall off, extendable, comes with armband, its Bose

Much better than Monster

 

Very good headphones. I had owned an older set of Bose in-ear headphones and was very happy with those. They finally died, probably due to sweat. I bought a set of Monster iSport headphones that were well reviewed but they had very poor bass response...

I've had these for about 3 weeks to replace my 3rd pair of earbuds that died from sweat, wire bending and exposure to the elements. The fit took a day or two to get used to. Since they don't fill your ear canal completely you'll worry about them...
