AfterShokz Sports M2 review - wrap-around bone-conduction headphones great for exercise

 

The good thing about headphones is that they're designed for people of any fitness level. The Sportz M2 headphones will work for everyone--especially people with oddly-shaped ears or inconvenient piercings, since they don't actually sit on or inside...

While these bone-conduction headphones are great for runners and cyclists, they're still a bit lacking for true audiophiles—and not great for use in quieter environments.

AfterShokz Sports M2 bone-conducting headphones aren't for music lovers

 

The AfterShokz Sports M2 will appeal to people who want comfortable headphones that you don't have to wear in your ears. Just don't expect them to provide a great listening experience -- for music, anyway.

The headphones work better for speech than music. They also leak a lot of sound, and the earpads vibrate on your cheek at higher volumes, creating a tickling sensation.
