Just another outstanding running watch from Garmin

Lots of lovely stats, on every important aspect of your running ; Instant Wi-Fi sync at the press of a button ; Garmin Connect is an absolute beast of a data miner Battery life is strong

The touchscreen is unresponsive at times and its colours are washed out ; The styling isn's beautiful, clearly ; HR straps connect (unreliably) via ANT+ only

Garmin Forerunner 620

 

The Forerunner 620 is an excellent fitness trackers for runners, especially when bundled with Garmin's HRM-Run heart rate strap. It doesn't include any special smart features, however, such as push notifications or all-day step counting.

Tracks advanced running stats, including VO2Max estimate and race predictor. Great battery life. Waterproof. Vibration alerts. Uses both buttons and touch screen.

No optical heart rate monitoring, step counting, sleep tracking, or notifications.

If you're in the market for an advanced GPS running watch, and you very specifically don't want any extra tech features, such as push notifications from your phone and sleep tracking, the Garmin Forerunner 620 should be on your list for consideration....

This is my first GPS watch. It is ready to go almost immediately after switching it on. Its great to know your pace and I can time cetain elements of my run easily with the split timer. Uploading to garmin connect is easy and its a great way to log...

Once you complet a run the watch displays summary data about your run. My eyes arent the best and I found the font too small to read easily.
