TomTom One IQ Routes satnav review

By Stuart Miles (pocket-lint.com)

You know as well as I do that there are some routes you take in the morning and others at night when you want to get through the traffic in your car, however does your satnav? The TomTom One IQ Routes reckons it does. We see if it's right. The TomTom...

Easy to use, IQ routes plans out the best route, small so can fit in your pocket

No HD traffic, you'll have to pay extra for speed camera and petrol prices, basic

We like it, we like it a lot, and while you pay a little more than you might for other models, it works and for us that is worth the money

We won't hide the fact that we like the original TomTom One here at Pocket-lint and so to be honest felt from the get go that we would like the new version. So why do we like the TomTom One? Well it claims to know the best routes depending on the time...

TomTom ONE IQ Routes Edition Europe 42 Sat-Nav

By James Morris (trustedreviews.com)

Award: Recommended!

TomTom borrows from its higher-end GO sat-navs to bring us the ONE IQ Routes Edition. James gives it a go.

The TomTom ONE IQ Routes is not quite a budget model, and the version we looked at was the £20 more expensive Europe 42 model, which covers all of Western Europe and major roads in many Eastern European countries as well. If you're just after cheap...

In contrast, TomTom's ONE IQ Routes sits in a slightly less obvious slot above the entry-level. But if you travel enough to want the extra journey time savings IQ Routes offers, but not enough for a premium sat-nav, it's worth considering.

TomTom White Pearl

By Thomas Mckinnon (techsmart.co.za)

The TomTom White Pearl is designed exclusively for woman. With its stylish looks and solid features it is more than a novelty device. It is also priced incredibly well.

The best bit about the unit is its price, only R1999.

TomTom One IQ Routes Edition

By Vincent Lheur (digitalversus.com)

or Advanced Lane Guidance is one of the great innovations of the One IQ Routes Edition. It tells you in the blink of an eye where to place yourself on the road. Up till now, A.L.G (like IQ Routes) was reserved for the TomTom GO.

Easy to use ; IQ Routes will be very useful for city dwellers ; Small practical suction mount ; Compact

The GPS sensor however is sometimes slow to start up

This is a must-have sat-nav for the regular driver. In addition, its IQ Routes feature is the ideal companion if you live in a city. Those of you who live in your cars will probably want to go for a model with traffic tracking.
