It's got stamina, and will help improve yours

Year-long battery life ; Accurate enough step counting ; Waterproof to 5 metres

Not the comfiest thing ; Sleep and run tracking a waste of time ; The app could offer more useful analysis

A neat little fitness tracker whose battery life and waterproofing means you never need to take off. And if it were just that bit more useful and more comfortable, you would never want to take it off either. Still, a solid effort for the price.

The Garmin Vivofit 2 stands out with an always-on display, year-long battery life and a water-resistant design that can withstand swimming in the pool.

The Vivofit 2 has an always-on display, one year of battery life, and can be worn in the shower and the pool. The new model adds a stopwatch mode, a backlight, audible alerts, inactivity alerts and a greatly improved wrist band.

There's no vibration, syncing isn't automatic and the Garmin mobile app doesn't provide detailed enough information or any smart coaching insights.

The always-on display and long battery life make the Garmin Vivofit 2 an appealing alternative to the Jawbone Up2 and Fitbit Charge.

I bought this for my 8 year old son he loves it loves collecting coins for doing jobs around the house he loves trying to get more steps than the day before definitely a must for children
