Smartphones have made portable navigators largely obsolete, but this Garmin Advanced series PND makes nice with the enemy.

As the Nuvi series gains more tricks, its settings menu has gotten bloated with options and categories.

The Garmin Nuvi 2689 LMT is a strong performing navigator with loads of smart features that help reduce driver errors and distraction, but in a world filled to the brim with smartphone nav apps, most will never know its charms.

The Garmin nüvi 2689LMT is simple to use, with a host of helpful features; the only time it falters is when using voice commands.

Clean interface. Bluetooth calling. Free lifetime traffic. Responsive touch screen.

Searching for businesses using voice commands often yields inaccurate results.
