It kind of does what it is suppose to do. All the main functions work, which is most important. So nothing to talk about here.
navigating in menus are logical, pretty much does what it is suppose to do, elgant look, readable display, online Garmin Connect is a big plus
touchpad in wet/moist conditions, in-the-box software (especially map)

If style isn’t important to you, and pure ease-of-use is, the uglier, fully-buttoned Foreunner 305 or 205 might be a better choice. For cyclists, the Edge products are certainly a better option. But, we’ll take the 405 – it's a proper gadget.
