Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (Xbox) review

They're back, AiAi, Gongon, Meemee and Baby, those 4 little monkeys in their plastic balls, but unfortunately they don't have much new to offer us this time round. Rather than producing an all new Monkey Ball game, which everybody's been waiting for,...

A great game, remade, not much extra added, but still a great game. Any Xbox owners who never had these on the GameCube owes it to themselves to buy this. It's a pity that more wasn't added, but this still stands out as a good single player, and...

Super Monkey Ball Deluxe Review

Rollin', Rollin', Rollin'

If nothing else, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe gives XBox and PlayStation 2 owners a chance to get in on the simian-rolling action that only GameCube owners had before now. The game literally combines both GameCube releases and puts them onto one disc with...

Super Monkey Ball Deluxe

Knocking previous Monkey Balls together produces the 800lb. gorilla of action-puzzle games.

Exceptional challenge and longevity; addictive gameplay; impressive mini-games and unlockables; great price point; amalgamated content of previous installments

Graphically dated; sound and music begin to grate; sometimes infuriating gameplay; annoying load times and slight slowdown; limited appeal to those owning previous installments

Play your granny

Great little game, easy to play, harder to master. Anyone can pick it up and play even if they aren't gamers, Play your granny at Monkey Bowling, Monkey Football or Monkey Boxing, it's up to you with lots of mini-games to give you variety OR just go...

Great party game

Aside from the laughably poor excuse for a story line in the main game, this game is great especially when played with other people. The reason to buy this game is for the party games.

Too damn Cutesy

I used to own the original Super Monkey Ball on the Gamecube and I loved it. I bought this version for the Xbox and I HATE it! It's just too cutesy for me! The mini games are good but the main game is SO DULL!!!! Don't waste your money or time on it!

Best Party Game Ever

This game is the main reason I invested in getting another 3 controllers. The regular single player mode is pretty cool, but the multiplayer party mode is what really makes this game a keeper. Monkey Boxing is my personal favourite; Four sphere...
