I found that the thickness dial that controls the slice thickness does not stay where you set it and requires nearly constant readjustment.Luckily I don't use the slicer very often so I put up with it.Some kind of lock on the setting would be real nice.

It did the job OK when it was working, although the dsign of the head was not as good as previous one which created a vortex that mixed the contents of the bowl around, drawing new liquid into the blades, etc.

Constantly overheats. When I asked Breville about overheating I was told it should only be used for a few seconds at a time? Now out of warranty I went to turn it on and the on/off buttons fell into the cavity and can go to a repairer for a fee.
