Compact, internal antenna design; supports both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Draft N simultaneously; network-attached storage functionality; runs cool; supports Wi-Fi-Protected Setup.
Short one-year warranty; 2.4GHz close-range and mixed-mode throughput could be better; expensive.
The WRT610N can satisfy both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless clients with its solid performance, great design, ease of use, and its ability to work as a network storage device when coupled with an external hard drive.

Linksys has tried to improve the WRT610N and make it easier for Mac users to work with. But it has not succeeded. All the problems found could be solved through firmware updates to fix obvious bugs, and better packaging and explanation of its software.
Allows simultaneous connections, incredible granularity in configuration; no need to restart for most configuration changes.
Mac setup tool not mature; WPS incompatible with Leopard; basic storage control failures; file sharing broken.

Setup (even for an idiot like me) was super easy both for desktop pc and laptops on both bands. Very sleek design, wanted to get rid of antennas while still having dual band high end router.
Overheats (I think)! Can not handle larger file transfer to external hard-drive connected to router via USB. Lose connection with both internet and desktop PC every 10 minutes. Only solution is to unplug power supply (hard reboot).
