The six-tuner Roamio series finally gives the TiVo faithful all the features they've wanted for years. No more add ons, the TiVo Roamio, the company's best DVRs yet, has it all built in.

Supports streaming and download to Android and iOS devices. Integrated Wi-Fi and MoCA. Six tuners. 150-hour HD recording capacity. Online content from Amazon, Netflix, Blockbuster, Hulu Plus, Pandora, YouTube.

Digital cable only (requires CableCARD). Requires paid subscription. Out-of-home streaming on iOS requires Wi-Fi. No support for HBO GO or Watch ESPN.

The speed of the menu system still has the occasional hiccup, as with any set top box with a multi-pane UI, but overall the interface is starting to approach the responsiveness of the older Series 2 and 3 TiVo flat menus. Viewers who don't subscribe to...

TiVo Roamio Pro review: this is the ultimate cable box

There is nothing more instantly dangerous to the average relationship than screwing up the TV.

Integrates cable TV and internet services like nothing else ; Fast, simple interface ; TV streaming to iOS devices ; Support for casting YouTube and Netflix from phones and tablets

Ridiculously expensive ; Amazon app is ancient ; Are you kidding me with these SD settings screens

TiVo Roamio Plus Review

Though it can't access satellite content and only has a 1TB internal hard drive, the TiVo Roamio Plus is otherwise a good DVR. It has six tuners, so you can record up to six programs simultaneously, and it can access content from a variety of sources....

The TiVo Roamio Plus lets you record up to six programs at the same time.

It only has 1TB of internal storage.

Despite requiring a subscription, the TiVo Roamio Plus makes it easy to record content from cable and video streaming sources. You can enjoy access to a wide variety of content and connect plenty of devices to the DVR, as well as customize its features.
