Attractive real-wood frame; nice-looking display; motion sensor automatically turns frame on and off.

Slow downloads; most transition effects do not operate smoothly; very small remote control; only a 90-day warranty.

In spite of some performance issues, the Smartparts SPX12 is a good-looking frame that for the most part lives up to its claim of making it easy to transfer photos from a memory card to the frame with almost no effort.

Got this for a b'day gift. I love it so far, ...

The brightness, clarity and the transitions are gorgeous. Ease of use, instantly set up.

VERY SHORT warranty period, in my opinion, 90 days not long enough.. I will be calling them to see what I am supposed to do if the thing quits 93 days after purchase. Too high if they fix anything after the warranty is up.
