This year, we saw new superzooms without electronic viewfinders, and the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H3 is one of this new breed. This 8-megapixel compact packs in the manual features, plus a long zoom lens in a camera that's smaller -- if not lighter -- than mos...

Noisy images at higher ISOs; no place to put your thumb
If you don't like electronic viewfinders but want a superzoom, this Sony stuffs a 10x zoom lens and 8 megapixels into a tiny package, although image quality at higher ISOs is a bit lacking

The Sony DSC H3 is one of the more compact super zoom digital cameras. This model has 8 megapixels and a 10x zoom lens. Picture quality is very good and it also has one of the lowest shutter delay times. Recommended.

You have to manually remove the lens cap - it does not open automatically when you turn the camera on. Small inconvenience, not even a big deal.
